Service Electric customers in several northern Schuylkill County communities are set to experience a temporary disruption in their Internet, television, and home phone services on Wednesday, July 19th, starting at 6 a.m.
The emergency outage has been scheduled to facilitate permanent repairs to the fiber optic network, which sustained damage on July 14th, 2023.
The areas that will be impacted by the outage include Ashland, Beurys Lake, Fountain Springs, Frackville, Gilberton, Girardville, Gordon, Helfenstein, Hegins, Lavelle, Locustdale, Mahanoy Plane, Saint Clair, Taylorsville, and Weishample.
