Robert L. (Bob) Schuld, 78, of New Ringgold passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members, Friday, August 4th, at Pottsville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Bob was born in East Orange, NJ on May 25, 1945, a son of the late Eleanor Doris (Schwankert) and George Frank Schuld III.

He was the husband of Wendy (Wolfe) Schuld. They were married October 31st, 1980.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg and he served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He worked as a Claims Adjuster for State Farm.

Bob belonged to the corvette club, Orwigsburg Lions Club, Church Council and Men's club at St. Paul's Church. He was an avid fan of racing and Baseball. He wrestled in High school and also coached his children's Softball & Baseball teams. He was very dedicated to his family. He was a genuine man and enjoyed engaging in challenging conversations.

In addition to Wendy, his wife of 42 years, Bob is survived by two daughters, Candice Schuld; Samantha Morris, wife of Dalton; his son, Bobby Schuld and companion; Grandchildren Wesley & Barrett Morris. Robert is also survived by his brother, George Schuld, husband of Ann.

Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his brothers Gary & Richard Schuld and his sister Ellen Maier.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Michael Petresky officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.

Interment will be at Zion's Red Church Cemetery Orwigsburg.

Betty J. Romig
, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, 86 years of age of East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton.

Born Monday, April 5, 1937 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Albert, and Margaret (Scheidegger) Keich. Betty was also predeceased by; grandson Bruce Romig, Jr.; sisters, Mary Keich, Dorothy Young, Thelma Folk; brothers, George Gerber, Kenneth, Robert, Albert, and Clarence Keich; companion, Joseph Fernandez.

Surviving are; daughters, Bonnie Hunadi and her husband Thomas, Betty Slayton; sons, Bruce Romig, Albert Romig, Ronnie Romig ; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive Betty.

A doting mother, and grandmother, Betty was a good cook, and enjoyed time spent with her family. Betty took long daily walks throughout Tamaqua, and would converse with the many people she met along the way.

Nancy M. Gray
, 85, of Pine Grove, passed away Friday evening, August 4, 2023 at her home.

Born in Lebanon, December 30, 1937, a daughter of the late Russell and Eva Kunder Boltz.

Nancy was retired from Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Lebanon, where she was CNA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Houser III; brothers, Milton "Sonny" Boltz and Ricky Boltz; a sister, Mary Murphy.

Surviving are her husband, Fred G. Gray; three children, Jean Fraker (Michael), with whom Nancy resided with, Rose Houser, Florida, and Michael Houser, California; sisters, Norma Kramer, Vicky Barker, Bonnie Harris, Adaline Wolfe, and Eva Ulrich; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Joan C. Moyer
, 89, of Fountain Springs, Ashland, passed away surrounded by her family, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. 

Born in Fountain Springs, October 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Clair and Florence Heber White. She was a graduate of the former Butler Township High School, Fountain Springs, class of 1951. Joan had been employed as a cashier for the Acme Supermarket, Ashland, until she left to raise her family, and later worked as a housekeeper at the Broad Mountain Nursing Home, Frackville, until her retirement. She was a member of the Christ Congregational Church, Fountain Springs. Along with spending time with family, she enjoyed time with her cat “Izzy”. spending time with her second family at LIFE Geisinger Minersville, watching Fox News, and rooting for the Phillies. Preceding her in death, the love of her life and husband, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage, George "Georgie" Moyer, passing March 3, 2022, a sister Bernice Williams and a brother Clair White.

Daughter: Janice Ashman, Brandonville

Granddaughter: Brianna Rowe and her fiancé Adam Isgate, Frackville

Grandson: Tyler Long, Brandonville

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service, Friday, August 11, 2023, at 1:30 PM, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Officiating will be Pastor Susan Hocking of the Simpson United Methodist Church, Gordon. The family requests memorials be made to the Hillside S.P.C.A., Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA., 17901.
