The Pennsylvania State Police have released the identity of the victim from Friday's fatal motorcycle crash near Pottsville.
According to Troopers from the Schuylkill Haven Barracks, the crash occurred Friday, August 18, 2023 around 2:30pm on Tumbling Run Road, approximately 1-mile from the Route 61 intersection, in North Manheim Township.
Police say Bradley Renninger, 34, of Minersville was riding his Harley Davidson Super Glide east on Tumbling Run Road when he struck a large tree that had fallen across the roadway.
Renninger was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. Police reported that Renninger was wearing a helmet.
Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Al Barnes was called to the scene.
Assisting State Police at the scene were Schuylkill EMS, Yorkville Fire and Rescue, and the Good Intent Fire Company.
