Knoebels Amusement Park Extends Summer Thrills into September and October

As Labor Day marked the unofficial end of summer, Knoebels Amusement Resort is gearing up for an exciting autumn season filled with a plethora of thrilling events.

From September Weekends to a Doggie Dive extravaganza, a charitable Knoebel Lumber 5K, and the much-anticipated Hallo-Fun Halloween celebration, Knoebels promises endless entertainment for all ages.

Throughout the month of September, Knoebels will be open on weekends, offering visitors the chance to enjoy their favorite rides with special ride passes available for purchase. The park welcomes guests from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays and from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sundays. Notably, September 23 will see the "Buy One Today, Get One Next May" promotion, granting guests who purchase a ride pass on that day a free ride pass valid for use in May 2024.

One of the park's standout events in September is the 10th Annual Doggie Dive, scheduled for September 10 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Crystal Pool. This event is a crowd-pleaser, where furry friends can take a dip in the pool while guests enjoy raffles, connect with rescue organizations, and explore various vendor booths.

The charity-focused action continues into October with the 30th annual Knoebel Lumber 5K on October 7, where all proceeds will benefit the Ralpho Township Public Library. Registration begins at Pavilion L at 8:00 AM, with the race kicking off at 9:00 AM. Early registrants will receive an official race t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

Knoebels embraces the Halloween spirit with four weekends of Hallo-Fun festivities, set for October 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, and 27-29. During these special weekends, the park's operating hours extend into the evening, with Fridays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitors can choose between ride passes or individual ride tickets.

Hallo-Fun promises a magical transformation of Knoebels, as the park decks out in enchanting fall décor. A tantalizing array of seasonal menu items will be introduced, featuring homemade soups, pumpkin funnel cakes, fudge apples, and pumpkin ice cream. Little ones in costumes can embark on a trail of treats, while several rides undergo a Halloween makeover, including the Pioneer Train and Haunted Antique Cars.

Stacy Yutko, Knoebels' Public Relations Director, shared her excitement, saying, "Of course, guests visit Hallo-Fun for the rides and seasonal food like our homemade soups, pumpkin funnel cake, fudge apples, and pumpkin ice cream. But make sure you don't miss our three types of live shows, Sunday morning character breakfasts, morning activities, photo ops throughout the park, and more!"
