A Pottsville man was injured Monday in a crash in Ryan Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 5:30pm on Brockton Mountain Road near the intersection with Front Road in Ryan Township.
Troopers says Raven Womer, 21, of Pottsville was riding his Yamaha FZS1000 and traveling south on Brockton Mountain Road when he lost control on a right curve.
He dropped the motorcycle on its right side and traveled off the roadway, down an embankment, and struck a tree.
Womer was transported to an area hospital by Ryan Township Ambulance with serious injuries.
Also assisting at the scene were the Ryan Township Fire and Rescue and Womer's Garage.
