Helen (Macker) Lebiedziewski, 99 of Shenandoah passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah on July 14, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Helen (Budnar) Macker.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Chester F. Lebiedziewski in 1991; six brothers, Joseph, John, Peter, Walter, Michael and Alex; and three sisters, Mary, Ann and Sophie.

Surviving are her son, Joseph C. Lebiedziewski and his wife Diana; three grandchildren, Paula Fetterolf and her husband Corey, Joseph P. Lebiedziewski and Ashley Carter; five great-grandchildren, Eric, Ethan and Evan Miernicki, Aaliyah Carter and Aria Lebiedziewski; two great-great-grandchildren, Nyla & Enzo Miernicki; sister, Rose Klocek; sister-in-law, Charlotte Macker; many nieces, nephews and their families.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Helen’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Shenandoah Senior Living Community and Lehigh Valley Hospice for the care and concern they provided her.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah is in care of the arrangements.

Derric D. Ney
, age 41, of Hegins, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born on Monday, October 12, 1981, in Pottsville, PA, a son of Vincent Ney and Staci Harman Ney. He was a employed at Thermo Fisher, Millersburg

He was also a member of St Paul's Evangelical Church in Pitman, the Valley View Gun Club, coached girls basketball for Tri-Valley elementary, was a little league umpire. Derric enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and loved going up to Elk County. He was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Eagles. Derric was his childrens hero, fishing and hunting buddy, he was their biggest supporter and he loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Emma Ney.

He is survived by his fiancee, Hope Moyer; children, Harmoney, Brianna, and Damion Ney; sister, Bambi and husband Jared Maurer; maternal grandparents, Charles and Darlene Harman; god son, Zalen Williard and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services are pending.

Tangie Gough, 64, of Centre Street, Ashland, passed away the evening of Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in the Shamokin Hospital, Coal Township, March 20, 1959, she is the daughter of Wanda Schoffler of Mt. Carmel. She was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, class of 1977. Tangie graduated from the Empire Beauty School, Pottsville, and began her lifelong carrier as a beautician with the former Jim Hepler Beauty Salon, Ashland, later with Kathy’s House of Style, Ashland, until her retirement.

Survivors in addition to her mother:

Husband: Edward Gough, married 40 Years

Brother: Loren Schoffler, White Haven

Brother: Troy Schoffler, Atlas

Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins
