In 1957, when Gwen and Frank tied the knot, many doubted their love would endure. But, against the odds, their marriage lasted an impressive 64 years.

Now, in accordance with Gwen (Lloyd) Tatusko's passing on June 4, 2021, and Frank A. Tatusko, Sr.'s passing on August 21, 2023, their final wishes will be fulfilled. Upon cremation, their ashes will be combined into a single urn, and they will be laid to rest for eternity.

Gwen and Frank will be interred alongside their son, Frank A. Tatusko, Jr., on October 20, 2023, at St. Jerome's Cemetery in Tamaqua, PA.

Frederick Budnar
passed away on October 10th, 2023.

A Religious Service will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Michael The Archangel Orthodox Church in Saint Clair on Thursday October 19th. The viewing will be from 9:00 AM until service begins.
Interment, with Military Honors, will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Orthodox Church, 106 North Morris St., St. Clair 17970. Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home, Inc. Orwigsburg is honored to be serving the family.

Susan Jane Orendach
, 59 years of age, West Penn Twp., Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. while fighting a courageous battle against cancer.

Born Thursday, May 21, 1964 in Allentown, the daughter of the late Andrew, and Sandra (Hoffman) Fritzinger.

Surviving are; husband, Edward Orendach of Slatington; sons, Adam Orendach of Slatington, Nick Orendach of West Penn Twp., with whom she resided; sisters, Nancy Conner wife of Clifton of Andreas, Debbie Serfass wife of Ambrose of Slatington; brothers, William Fritzinger and his wife Tanya, Michael Fritzinger. Many nieces and nephews also survive Susan.

A 1982 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington, Susan worked as a Nurses Aide at Luther Crest for many years. Susan most recently supported her son Nick working as a waitress at the West Penn Dinner, and previously at the New Tripoli Dinner which he owns and operates. Devoted to her family, Susan enjoyed the companionship of her grand dogs.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 o'clock P.M. on Monday October 16, 2023 from the funeral home, Rev. Henry Distler to officiate. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until the time of services.

Joyce A. Hartenstine
, 78, of Quakertown, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 9, 2023.

Born in Pottsville, May 14, 1945, a daughter of the late Marlin and Lucy Geist Esterline.

She was a 1963 graduate of the former Williamstown High School. Joyce then received her Bachelor's degree at Penn State University and her Master's at Rutger's University. While at Penn State, she played on the first women's basketball team.

Joyce was a retired physical education teacher from the George Washington Middle School, New Jersey, where she coached basketball, field hockey, and track. She also was a certified Red Cross swim instructor and lifeguard.

Joyce loved to travel the world. She was an avid and accomplished skier. She was also very active with the Penn State Alumni Association.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Esterline, and a sister Connie McSurdy.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Shari Hartenstine, Quakertown; two sisters, Carol Kraft, North Carolina, and Beth Ricker, Klingerstown; a sister-in-law, Joanne Esterline, Williamstown; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Viewing will be from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.

Joseph J. Colosimo, 72, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home.

Born in Shenandoah on February 28, 1951, he was the son of the late Michael Colosimo Sr. and Marie Dougert.

Joseph was a 1968 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah. He worked for many years as an aluminum extruder for Hydro Extrusions in Cressona. Joseph loved hunting and fishing and was a life member of the 500 Fish and Game Club. He was a fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Baltimore Orioles.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Julian and Michael Colosimo.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane (Tunilla) Colosimo, a son – Joseph Colosimo of Frackville, a daughter - Megan Burke with her husband John of Shenandoah Heights, a brother – Robert “Bobby” Colosimo at home, and 3 grandchildren – Johnny Burke, Brynn Burke, and Daemon Burke.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, Shenandoah are entrusted with the arrangements.

Jacqueline M. Holtzer, 71 of Orwigsburg, died peacefully Tuesday at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation, Orwigsburg.

She was born August 6, 1951 in Pottsville a daughter of the late, John J., Jr. and Dorothy Petroski Kelly.

She was a 1971 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

She worked as a CNA at Wernersville State Hospital and home health care services, prior to retiring.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Kelly, Jr.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Jennifer Feeley and her husband John, Crofton, MD; Jessica Green and her husband Richard, Baltimore, MD; Juliette Neifert and her husband Eric, Pottsville; 5 grandchildren, Caroline, Connor and Oliva Feeley, Naomi & Maria Neifert; 4 sisters, Constance Heffner, Orwigsburg; Deborah Kelly, Pottsville; Patricia Quinn, Schuylkill Haven; Dorothy "Cookie" Long, Reading; nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

Robert E. Ebling
, 96, of Wyomissing, passed away Monday, October 9 at home.

Born September 3, 1927 in Mount Carbon, the son of the late Elmer and Anna Scholl Ebling.

He was a graduate of Pottsville High School. He was formerly employed by Conrail and United Transportation Union. After retirement he worked for Davis Law Firm, Philadelphia as an investigator.
He was a proud veteran of the US Army Air Force. He was a Life Member of the Pottsville lodge #216 F&AM, Reading consistory, Rajah Shrine and the Cressona American Legion. He was also on the former board member of the Riverfront Credit Union.

He was the husband of Joan A. (Keating) Ebling, who passed away in 2019.

Bob was a very generous man. He would have lunch available daily for his neighbors and friends, Joe, Ed and John. On Saturdays, they would enjoy pizza and wings. A special thank you to Ruth Jacobs, his caretaker, for the past few months she cared for him.

In addition to his wife, Robert is preceded in death by his brothers Charles, Edward, James, Sam and Theodore and a sister Ruth.

Bob is survived by a brother Gene Ebling husband of Peggy, Orwigsburg, sisters Ada Miller, Shoemakersville and Lois Fehr, Pottsville and a sister in law Deborah A. Kumpaitis, of Virginia Beach. 

As well as, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 19 from 10-11 at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut Street Cressona.

A religious service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home officiated by Bob’s dear friend, Deacon Ed Lombardo.

Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
