June Velma Jackson
, 94, passed away Monday, October 23rd, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, where she had been a resident.

Born in Schuylkill Haven on June 30, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charles Koch, Sr. & Clara (DeLong) Koch.

June was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, and was of the Protestant faith.

She worked as a seamstress for March Sportswear, Hamburg.

In addition to her parents, June is also preceded in death by two daughters: Peggy Minnich, & Betty Bohn, and three siblings: Charles Koch, Jr., Paul Koch, & Violet Klauck.

She is survived by four grandsons: Kevin Schrader & companion, Bonnie Whah, Auburn, Gerald Schrader & companion, Janet Trate, Orwigsburg, David Schrader & wife, Jessica, and Steven Dissinger & companion, Leanne Prencipe, all of Schuylkill Haven, three great-grandchildren: Micaela, Joshua, & Abigail Schrader, two great-great-grandchildren: Neveah, & Sophia, a brother, James, husband of Shirley Koch, of Birdsboro, and nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 26th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Shawn VanDyke officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Zion's Red Church Cemetery, Orwigsburg.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to Seton Manor, with "Activities Fund" on the memo line of your check, and mailed to 1000 Seton Dr., Orwigsburg, PA 17961.

Adelle P. Benjamin
, age 82, of Mahanoy City, passed away Monday morning at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville. 

Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Adele (Dumchus) Nevadomski. She was a graduate of J. W. Cooper High School in Shenandoah and was of the Catholic faith. After raising her family she worked as a manager at the Uni Mart in Mahanoy City. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casinos and camping. 

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband Herbert in 1994 and a brother Robert Nevadomski. She is survived by her children Scott Benjamin and his wife Melanee of Kelayres, Maria Benjamin and her companion Gary of Mahanoy City, Jennifer Benjamin of Mahanoy City, Cindy Montgomery and her companion Ryan of Sinking Spring, Jamie Benjamin and his companion Megan of Mahanoy City and Chad Benjamin and is companion Danielle also of Mahanoy City, a sister Tina Young of Florida, 2 grandchildren Kelsey Conroy and Aubrey Benjamin, a niece and a nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday morning at 11 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. The Rev. Dennis G. Dalessandreo will officiate. 

 Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 AM until time of service. 

Contributions in her name to Hillside SPCA would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.

Ann B. Tihansky, 81, of Pine Grove, died Monday, October 2, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, PA.

Born October 26, 1941, in Pottsville, Ann was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hulda Kangas Boltz.

Ann was a graduate of Pottsville High School and studied nursing after graduation. Ann spent many years working in local schools as an instructor and substitute school nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Theodore Tihansky, sister, Bonnie Jean Wetzler and brothers Benjamin Boltz and Peter Boltz. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ann was a lover of nature and served on the board of the Sweet Arrow Lake Conservation Association. Ann found joy in her friendships, family and rooting on the Penn State Nittany Lions football team.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
