Pottsville Rotary Honors November Students of the Month



POTTSVILLE - The November 2023 Students of the Month of the Pottsville Rotary Club were honored at their recent meeting on Wednesday, November 1 at Vitos Coal Fired Restaurant in St. Clair.

CAMPBELL ALBERTINI

Campbell Albertini is the daughter of John and Amanda Albertini of Pottsville. Her school activities consist of: Pottsville High Senior Class Vice-President, Key Club Member, Varsity Softball, Editor-In-Chief of the Yearbook and Publications Photography Head of Staff. Campbell is a volunteer with Big Impact and a Tutor. Her honors include: National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and the Wilkes University Colonels Emerging Leaders Award. Campbell plans to attend Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia to major in Radiology.

MADISON EROH

Madison Eroh is the daughter of Jaime and Kurt Eroh of Pottsville. Her school activities consist of: Alpha Iota Delta (AID), Mini-Thon, Student Council Treasurer, Foreign Language Club, Cross Country Captain, Track, Concert Band, Majorette Captain, National Honor Society, Aevidum Club, Aletheia Club, Junior School Board Member, Red Cross Blood Drive Coordinator, Schuylkill County Band. Madison’s community activities include: Hugh Obrien Youth Leadership - Ambassador 2022, Staff Member 2023. Her honors include: National Honor Society Member and Schuylkill League Girls All-Star Team.

NATIVITY BVM HIGH SCHOOL


HANNAH ZIMEROFSKY

Hannah Zimerofsky is the daughter of Jessica and Vincent Zimerofsky of Pottsville. Her school activities consist of: Soccer, Cheer, Basketball, Softball, Track and Field, Diversity Club, Interact Club, International Club, Student Ambassador, Student Council – Senior Vice-President, National Honor Society, Science Honor Society. Hannah is a volunteer with St. Clare of Assisi Parish and The Green Wave Association. After graduation, Hannah plans to attend a University and major in Accounting and Finance.

JACK MESSINA

Jack Messina is the son of Megan and Vincent Messina of Ringtown. His school activities include: Student Council President, Soccer, Basketball, Track, and Student Ambassador. Jack is a volunteer with his local parish and the Nativity community. After graduation, Jack plans to attend Marywood University to study Architecture.

MINERSVILLE AREA HIGH SCHOOL


EMILY HART

Emily is the daughter of Cheryl and Neal Hart. Her school activities consist of: Aevidum Club, SADD, National Honor Society, Student Council, Pep Club, Drama Club Vice President, Spanish Club, 2022 Homecoming Queen, and a member of the Volleyball and Softball Teams. Emily is a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Drive and Youth Summit. Also, she is a lector at Holy Family Parish of Minersville and sang the National Anthem at the PIAA Wrestling Championship. Emily individually raised $11,000 for the Minersville Area Scholarship Fund by means of Homecoming Fundraising. After graduation, Emily plans to attend Cedar Crest College to major in Nuclear Medicine Technology and play softball.

LORENZO YOUREY

Lorenzo is the son of Eugene & Jenn Yourey and Kathleen Yourey. His school activities consist of: President of the Student Council, President of the National Honor Society, Active Leader of the Aevidum Club, Class Treasurer, SADD, Junior Advisory, a founding member of the Esports Club, and a member of the Basketball, Baseball and Football Teams. Lorenzo is a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Drive, the 1st Annual Special Olympics Basketball & Flag Football game, flag replacement on Veteran’s graves with the Navy Club, revitalization of town’s Little League Field, and worked the dunk tank for the Go Joe event fundraiser for St. Joseph’s Center. After graduation, Lorenzo plans to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
