Santa Claus and Rudolph Bring Holiday Cheer to Girardville

The annual tradition that has spanned over four decades, Santa Claus and his trusty reindeer, Rudolph, made their much-anticipated yearly visit to Girardville on Thanksgiving evening.

The festive event, a hallmark of the holiday season in the community, was organized and sponsored by the Girardville Good Times Club.

The Club has been organizing this beloved tradition for over 40 years. Todd Selgrade, a proud member, expressed gratitude to all those who have supported the club throughout the years, making events like these possible.

The jolly old man in the red suit was escorted through the borough by the Girard Hose and Rangers Hose Companies, spreading holiday joy along the way. The lively parade culminated at the borough hall, where Santa took time to meet with the children of Girardville.

At borough hall, eager children had the chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa.

Kids were also able to hand-deliver their letters to Santa, ensuring that their holiday wishes would be personally received by the man himself.

The annual visit from Santa Claus and Rudolph, made possible by the dedication of the Girardville Good Times Club, continues to be a treasured tradition that brings the community together and spreads the magic of the holiday season.
