Muhammad Ali's Legacy Lives On: Fighter’s Heaven Contributes $5,000 Each to Four Causes

Muhammad Ali's training camp, Fighter's Heaven, in Deer Lake, recently donated to 4 causes.
In the spirit of the season and in homage to Muhammad Ali's enduring commitment to humanitarian causes, Fighter's Heaven has bestowed $5,000 donations to organizations close to the late boxing legend's heart.

  • The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research holds significance as Ali, who battled Parkinson's disease himself, championed the cause of finding a cure for this debilitating condition.
  • The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY, receives support to continue promoting Ali's values of respect, confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, and spirituality. This contribution aligns with Ali's vision of inspiring and empowering individuals to be the best version of themselves.
  • Avenues of Pottsville is honored with a donation in memory of Lynda Pollack-Schiffer.  Ali was dedicated to supporting local communities and addressing the needs of those less fortunate.
  • St. Patrick’s Pottsville Area Soup Kitchen is acknowledged for its role in providing sustenance to the needy, aligning with Ali's commitment to alleviating hunger and ensuring that basic necessities are accessible to all. The donation symbolizes Ali's enduring compassion for those facing adversity.
