After moving to Garden Spot Village, Judy became involved in Caring Connections, visiting skilled care residents, Village Voices, and volunteering in the many activities that GSV had to offer.

Judy and Hugh became well known in the community for their hours of volunteering as well as their “Morning and Evening Walks” where they walked every day holding hands and saying “Good Morning” to their neighbors and friends.

Judy is survived by her husband of 68 years, Hugh L. Dockeray; three children, Bill & Mary Dockeray of Shavertown, Laurie & Scott Vercoe of Malvern and Susan Fischer & her fiancé Bill Weismuller of Chicago Illinois; four grandchildren, Bryan & Karyn Vercoe, Will Dockeray, Patrick Dockeray and Travis Vercoe; and two great-grandchildren, Aubrey & Grayson Vercoe.
