Dorothea Ihnat
, 62, of Royersford, PA, passed away Friday, December 22nd, at Phoenixville Hospital.

Dorothea was born in Mahanoy City, PA on May 31, 1961, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Petruska) and Emery Ihnat.

She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City and attended St Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Spring City PA.

She graduated from Mahanoy Area High School in 1979, and graduated Penn State University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

She worked in Human Recourses for Becket & Lee LLP Attorneys at Law. Malvern

Dorothea loved her Penn State football, and her family.

She is survived by Cousins John Petruska, Greg Petruska, Mary Mulligan, Theresa Cwikla, Joseph Petruska, Michael Petruska, Mary Walter, and Helen Lake.

Office of Christian Burial and Divine Liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, at 11 AM on Thursday, December 28th, with Rev. James Carroll officiating.

Friends and family may call Thursday 10 AM at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.

Interment at St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.

Family prefers donations to St. Mary’s Church.

Paul R Clark
, age 78, of Sacramento, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Pottsville Nursing and Rehab Center, Pottsville.

He was born on Thursday, January 18, 1945, in Mandata, a son of the late Lyle N Clark and the late Arlene K (Jones) Clark.

He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

Paul was a mechanic at Sterman Masser Potatoes prior to his retirement.

He was a former member of Christ Church, Leck Kill.

Paul enjoyed drag racing and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a son Wayne A Clark.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise L Murray and her husband John; three granddaughters, Kirsten Young and her husband John, Chivon Gerres and her husband Tim, and Kylee Sarango and her husband Solomon; two great grandsons, Weston Gerres and Mason Gerres; a brother, Earl Clark and his wife Connie; a sister, Lena Shoffler and her husband Donny; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond W. Holland, III officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
