Theresa "Louise" Hardnock
, 94, passed away Tuesday at Providence Place Pottsville, where she resided for the past six years and was a former resident of Ashland.

Born January 1, 1929, to Joseph and Margaret (O'Garrah) Brecker.

She is the last remaining member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo G. Hardnock Jr., who celebrated 64 years of marriage together.

Louise graduated from Ashland Area High School, Class of 1947.

She previously worked for Waldners Lumber Company, Ashland; Oxford Dress Company, Shamokin; Dee Fashions, Centralia, and was a secretary for Fr. Thomas Horan at Holy Rosary Church, Mahanoy Plane.

She was a past member of Friends of St. Joseph, St. Ann's Guild, Catholic Daughters of America as regent and treasurer, plus past president and treasurer of Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Ashland Lodge.

Their pet dogs were family to them, and they were avid Penn State and Phillies fans.

Louise is preceded in death by her sister Margaret (Robert) Yarnell; sister Dolores (Edward aka Mickey) Welsh; brother-in-law Raymond and his wife Catherine Hardnock.

Surviving are sister-in-law Joan Ryan, Harrisburg; brother-in-law Ronald Hardnock and wife Karen, Baltimore; several nieces and nephews and families.

The family would like to extend a thank you to all the staff of Providence Place-Pottsville, Amedisys Hospice of Lehigh Valley-Bethlehem, St. Patrick's Church-Pottsville, and all priests, chaplains, and deacons for all the special care given to our aunt during her final days. God bless all of you!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her parish church, St. Charles Borromeo, 1115 Walnut St, Ashland, PA 17921, or to Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance Inc, 1309 Centre St, Ashland, PA 17921.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 9th, from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1115 Walnut St, Ashland, PA 17921. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 9th, at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, with Rev. Giuseppe C. Esposito officiating. Burial will follow services at St. Joseph's Cemetery-Fountain Springs.

Randall B. “Randy” Moore
, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023, after a long fight with severe COPD brought upon by beryllium exposure. He will always be remembered as a loving son, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and devoted husband. 

For over 10 years Randy took care of his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Cleary Moore, who was disabled by a severe stroke. 

He is survived by his two sons, Patrick of Schwenksville, PA and Matthew of Fairfax, VA and their wives Catherine and Jacqueline and his four grandchildren, Christopher, Helena, Matthew, and Grace. Randy will always be fondly remembered for his ability to provide an attentive “caring ear” and sound guidance to his family. Born in Blandon, PA on September 13, 1936, he was the son of the late Victoria Bowers. 

A graduate of Kutztown High School, he served in the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard during the 1950s. Randy was a dedicated employee at Air Products & Chemicals for over 25 years where he spent many of those years as a supervisor at the Hometown Specialty Gas Facility. Outside of his family, Randy’s passions were the Phillies, Eagles, Marian Catholic High School Football, along with reading and sharing his deep knowledge of history. He also enjoyed coaching Babe Ruth Baseball. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 307 Pine Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Robert Finlan officiating. Interment in St. Jerome Cemetery, Lombard Street, Tamaqua will follow the mass. Call 9 AM – 10:30 AM at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Tamaqua Baseball Association, c/o William Angst, 986 Catawissa Road, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Robert W. Barron, 83 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania

Born Monday, August 26, 1940 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Robert G. Barron, and Mary (Nichols) Barron - Munichiello. Bob was also predeceased by; daughters, Jennifer E. McArdle; grandson, Joshua R. McArdle; sister, Margaret H. Sullivan; brother, Carl Barron; step father, George V. Munichiello

Surviving are; his wife of 56 years, Judith (Felker) Barron; son, Robert W. Barron, Jr. and his wife Tonia of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Justin E. McArdle and his companion Desiree Cramer, Alexander, and Nicholas Barron great grandchildren, Emily, Hunter,Ember,Lyrik, Malachi.

A 1958 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, matriculating to Stephens Trade School to be trained as a machinist. Bob served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bob retired from I.C.I explosive in Reynolds after a 34 year career. He was an avid sportsman, and fan. Bob enjoyed fishing, watching the Yankees, Philadelphia Eagles, and college basketball. Bob's constant companion was his dog Mylo.

Rose Ann Pepoli
, 92, a resident of Sara A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, PA passed away peacefully at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Mechanicsburg, PA on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023.

Prior to moving to Mechanicsburg in 2021, Rose lived in Shenandoah, PA for 80 years and Shenandoah Heights for 10 years.

Born in Shenandoah on May 31st, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Tambasco and Marie (Pancerella) Tambasco. She married Ciro Pepoli in Palinuro, Italy on August 19th, 1963.

She worked as a seamstress in the Shenandoah garment industry for many years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Catholic Church in Shenandoah, PA. and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her 2 grandchildren, and all of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking, reading, classic movies, game shows and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Ciro Pepoli and son Anthony Gerard Pepoli, his wife Sandra of Mechanicsburg, a brother, Martino Tambasco, New York, four sisters, Theresa Campanicki, Ringtown, Jean Zawadski, Connecticut, Julia McLaughlin, Macungie, and Anna Marie O’Haren, Mechanicsburg, two grandchildren, Joshua Aronne Pepoli and Giannalise Marie Pepoli both of Mechanicsburg as well as, many nieces and nephews living across the United States and in Europe.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 11AM to Noon at the Sullivan Funeral Home located at 51 North Enola Drive in Enola Pennsylvania 17025 (717-732-5400) on Saturday, December 9th. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home directly after visitation at 12 noon.

Donna Marie Brandt
, formally known as Donna Gruver, entered eternal life on December 5, 2023. 

Born in Wilkes Barre on November 20, 1954, but raised in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Ervin W. and Theresa (Zaremski) Gruver. Donna attended William Penn where she later earned her GED. She worked many jobs in her lifetime, however, her fondest was her 20 years at the American Legion in Coaldale where she spent most of her life enjoying moments and making memories with her family. Donna was full of life, kindness and love. She took many around her into her heart and always made them feel at home. 

Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her sister, Kay Anderson, brother, Carl Gruver, and her stepson, Terry. She is survived by her son, James A Spotts and his spouse Tanycha Mattriccino of Coaldale; stepson, Charlie; stepdaughters Michelle and Alana; granddaughters whom she affectionately referred to as “Her Girls,” Mariah and her partner, Jennifer, Makayla, Jaylah, Jazlinn; 7 step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 11 in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call 9-10:30 AM on Monday at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua.

The family of Kirsten Ann Schramm, 59 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania announce the passing of their beloved daughter, sister, aunt on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Greenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Born Saturday, August 29, 1964 in Camden, New Jersey Kirsten is survived by; mother, Agnes Mary (Lacey) Schramm; sister, Lacey Fender; nieces and nephews.

Kirsten was predeceased by; father, Richard Charles Schramm; sister, Aileen Schramm.

Catholic by faith, Kirsten was a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West in New Jersey. She graduated from Towson State College, earned certifications from McCann’s School of Business. Kirsten worked as a Paralegal, and Massage Therapist. Always on the move, Kirsten enjoyed gardening, landscaping, listening to music and creative writing. Kirsten was an animal rescue advocate.

Rosalind C. "Rose" Neidlinger
, 86, of Tower City passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her granddaughter Amber's home.

Born in Auburn, July 1, 1937, a daughter of the late Leon and Eva Eckert Earhart. Rose was a 1955 graduate of the Wiconisco High School.

Rose will be remembered for being a devoted wife to her husband and mother to her sons. She was an accomplished seamstress, who for many years, did alterations and mending. Rose's grandchildren were the center of her world.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jonathan "Nooch" Neidlinger; three sons, Randy, Jonathan "Skeeter" and Richard "Shadow" Neidlinger.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Neidlinger (Susan); a brother Leon Earhart; grandchildren, Megan Neidlinger, Devin Neidlinger, Nicole Aaronson, Amber Keim, Cole Neidlinger, and Louis Herbert; numerous great grandchildren.

Rose will be laid to rest privately in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
