Lenore Davies
, 66, of Walnut Street, Ashland, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her residence. Lenore was very kind, gentle, and patient. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, partner, and friend. She was loved by everyone who met her. Born at the former Ashland State General Hospital in Fountain Springs, May 16, 1957, she was the daughter of John and Margaret Gaughan Franks. She was a graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School, class of 1975. She was employed at the K Mart department store, Frackville Mall, until her retirement. Lenore was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish church and the American Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, both in Ashland. Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Davies, passing on April 20, 1995, and an infant daughter, Shelia Davies, passing on August 20, 1977.

Daughter: Kim wife of Kris Grier, Viola, Delaware

Son: Charles “Chuck” Davies and his wife Sasha, Girardville

Sister: Colette wife of Carl Beury, Ashland

Brother: John Franks and his wife Mary, Newark Delaware

Brother: Paul Franks, West Hollywood, California

Domestic Partner: Jim “Racer” O’Connor, Ashland

Grandchildren: Colton and Carli Burrows, Lanee, Kristopher, Abby, Landen Grier, and Lorelai, Trinity, Bianka Davies

Nieces, Nephews, and many friends

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Worship Center, Second Street, Girardville. Celebrating Mass will be Rev. Gregory Karpyn. Internment and a Celebration of Life service will be held in the spring of 2024. The family requests memorials be made to the American Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, 7th and Walnut Streets, Ashland, PA. 17921. Visit www.Frtizfuneralhome.com. The Richard W. Leroy G. "Butch" Bainbridge
, 80, of Williamstown, passed away Friday night, January 19, 2024.

Born in Pottsville, June 9, 1943, a son of the late Leroy and Catherine Heiser Bainbridge.

Leroy was a United States Marine Corp veteran serving two tours in the Vietnam War. He proudly served in the marines for 24 years. Following retirement, he was employed as a corrections officer for 17 years at SCI Frackville.

He was a member of the Williamstown American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Raymond, and Richard Bainbridge; a sister, Sharon Beury.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Venszl Bainbridge; a daughter, Christina Ziegler,(Michael) Virginia; brothers, David Bainbridge (Colleen), Donald Bainbridge (Sharon), Gary Bainbridge and Jackie Bainbridge (Barbara); two grandchildren, Marissa and Christopher; numerous nieces and nephews.

Following Leroy's wishes, services will be private.
