Suzanne Tice, 74, of Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at home.

Born on August 27, 1949 in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Melba Deibler Thomas.

She was a 1967 graduate of Blue Mt. High School.

Suzanne had worked at Pine Grove Ford and the former CR's in Pine Grove .

She loved Elvis and coffee and was an avid knick knack collector. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Cressona and the Pine Grove VFW Post 3432 Ladies Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 49 years, Charles S Tice; a sister, Donette Gagliardi; and a brother, William Thomas.

Surviving are three sisters, Patricia Cargo of Lebanon, Nancy and husband Richard Croneberger and Eileen and husband Randy Helwig, both of Schuylkill Haven; a sister-in-law, Marie (Merf) Thomas of Schuylkill Haven; a brother-in-law, Joseph Gagliardi of Friedensburg; nieces and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Edith Joyce "Dee" (Thomas) Biscoe
, 85, of Mahanoy City passed away on January 24, 2024 surrounded by her family. 

 Edith was born April 28, 1938 to the late Irene (Parfitt) Brown and was raised by her mother and grandparents the late Isaac and Mary Parfitt. Edith grew up in Gilberton and attended Gilberton High School. After graduation Edith went on to become a nursing assistant and worked at numerous nursing homes throughout her career as well as Mr. Hanger factory. She moved to Bernville and also worked at Palmer candy. Dee was a member of the Gilberton United Methodist Church for more than 70 years. She was always one for a good time and truly saw the best in everyone. She loved doing crossword puzzles, dancing, making people laugh and spending time with her family and friends. 

 Dee was the loving mother of 10 and is survived by her children Marbeth "Betsy" Biscoe, Schuylkill Haven, Stephen (Michelle) Biscoe, Mahanoy City, Ida Mae Biscoe, Mahanoy City, Joseph (Mary) Biscoe, Barnesville, Ann Marie (Gary) Schaeffer, New Tripoli, Helen (Terry) Boyle, Scranton, and Julia (William) Fazio, Gilberton. Gram, Mammam or GG as she was lovingly called is survived by her 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren due this year as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her mother and grandmother, Mrs. Biscoe is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, daughter Lillian (Biscoe) Uber, son Charles Biscoe, daughter Mary Lou (William) Hannon, granddaughter Ashley Uber and sisters Laverne Hicks and Mary Deninger. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral to be held Saturday at 2 PM from the Gilberton United Methodist Church. 

A visitation will begin at 12:30 PM. Contributions in her name to the church C/O 29 Main St., Gilberton, PA 17934 would be appreciated by the family. David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City is in charge of arrangements.

Jane Louise (Thomas) Behney
, aged 76, of Tower City, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Hershey Medical Center.

Jane was the eldest daughter of Raymond and Cathryn Thomas of Tremont. She attended Tremont schools and graduated from Tremont High School in 1965.

She worked in various places: Bea Shop and Behm's Restaurant, Tremont, Canoe Manufacturing, Pine Grove, Honeybee, Branchdale, Craftex, Auburn, Bestok, Tower City, and Ingram Micro, Jonestown.

She was an avid reader, baker, cook, and Phillies fan. Jane enjoyed coloring and trips to Knoebels Grove and Atlantic City. She cherished being with family and shared her love with her nieces and nephews.

Jane was a former member of St. Peter's UCC, Tremont, and a current member of St. Peter's UCC, Orwin, where she served as the vice president of the Lady's Aid.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Behney, Sr.; siblings, Kay Morgan, Tremont, Doris Frantz (Stephen L.), Pine Grove, Pat Herber (Larry), Pine Grove, Dennis Thomas (Susan), Hegins, Debbie Nelson (Homer), Tower City, Marc Thomas and his companion Mary Ellen, Tremont, and Pam Scheibley (Jim), Tremont; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Visitation will be held from 10-11 at the chapel. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Jane's memory can be made to St. Peter's UCC Memorial Fund, 427 Dietrich Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980.
