Leona May (Anderson) Baumbach
, 91, formerly of State College, died peacefully in the presence of family and friends in Tower City on April 10, 2024.

Leona is predeceased by her parents, Edwin J. Anderson and Mary Amelia (Boyer) Anderson of State College, and brother, Ray E. Anderson of West Chester, OH. She is survived by her son, Timothy D. Baumbach of State College; her brother, Paul A. Anderson of Lykens, PA; and sisters Grace (Anderson) Singer of Doylestown, PA and Mary Elizabeth Anderson of Winter Park, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Leona was a graduate of Penn State High School and attended Penn State University, graduating with a B.A. in Sociology ('55) and with her M.A. in Education ('70).

She was a longtime, active member of the State College Presbyterian Church.

Leona's life's passion was working with children. She directed the Busy Bee Prekindergarten School of State College for many years and taught in elementary schools in the area. She was kind, creative, had a beautiful smile, and loved music.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the St. Peter's/Hoffman's Cemetery, 1289 S Crossroads Rd. Lykens.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to State College Presbyterian Church,132 W. Beaver Avenue, State College, PA 16801.

Lori A. Ice, 58, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Harrisburg, July 16, 1965, a daughter of the late Esther West.

Lori loved listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty. She also was an avid wrestling fan.

Lori was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donovan Ice Jr., 2023.

Surviving are her son, Donovan Ice, III, Williamstown; numerous sisters including Sherry Meese, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Deb Stauffer.

Following Lori's wishes, there will be no services.

The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. is honored to serve the Ice family.
