Joan M. Donmoyer Burkert, 67, of Cumbola, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Tower Health Reading Hospital in West Reading.

Born on June 8, 1956 in Tremont, she was a daughter of the late Charles Donmoyer and Theresa Klusman Morgan.

Joan had been a retail clerk at Boscov''s and then worked as a home health aide.

Preceding her in death were her husband Larry Burkert in 2019 and a son Daniel Seiger in 2016.

Surviving are a daughter, Kelly and husband Scott Fisher of Tremont; two sons, Mark Seiger and fiancé Gina Lisa, Christopher and wife Stephanie Seiger, both of Pottsville; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Emma, Samuel, Julie, Emily, Allison, Miranda and Isaac; two sisters, Kathy Kintzel of Palmyra and Karen Popp of Lebanon; a brother, Charles Donmoyer of Wyomissing; nieces and nephews.

Per Joan''s request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library, 216 W. Independence St., Orwigsburg, Pa. 17961 in her memory.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Rose Marie Faust, 86, of Deer Lake passed away Saturday, April 6th, at home in the company of her family.

Rose was born in Kaska on October 14, 1937, a daughter of the late Sophie (Royauch) and Andrew Push.

She was the wife of Arlan J. Faust. They were married married April 1st, 1967. Rose was a social member of the Deer Lake West Brunswick Fire Company and was an avid Bingo player. She also enjoyed doing yard work and spending time outdoors.

Rose is survived by two sons, Richard Faust of Orwigsburg and Michael Faust, husband of Tina of South Carolina, two grandsons, Damian and Devin Faust, two great grandsons Colson and Bohen Faust as well as her sister, Sylvia Push

She was predeceased by her brothers Joe, Bobby, John and Andy.

Services are private at the convenience of family and entrusted to Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.

Gary Robert Bush
, 78, of Tremont, passed away on Friday, April 5th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George “Bud” Bush and the late Dorothy Bush. After service in the U.S. Marine Corps, he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the local coal industry until becoming disabled. Gary enjoyed weightlifting, wood carving and metalworking. He was a certified scuba diver and a volunteer rescue diver.

Preceding Gary in death was his wife, the former Marian Federovich, in 2015; daughters, Barbara (Bush) Cartwright in 2020 and Tracey Bush.
Surviving are a son, Gary John Bush and his wife, Emily; a daughter, Angie (Bush) Birkhead and husband, George; one grandson, Jared Bush; two granddaughters, Julie Bush and Gina Bush; and one great-granddaughter, Hadley. He is also survived by a brother, Richard Bush and wife, Ann as well as his sister and caretaker, Connie Bush.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 2 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Please plan to arrive at the cemetery 15 minutes before services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.
