Sandra L. Gera
, 72, of West Mahanoy Township, PA, passed away Saturday, March 2nd, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Sandra was born in Arnots Addition, PA on May 24, 1951, a daughter of Gladys Tipping and the late Laurance Bennett.

She graduated from North Schuylkill High School.

She enjoyed playing pool with her Pool League.

She was the wife of Andrew Gera.

Sandra is also survived by two daughters, Lucinda Gera, of Georgia; Jennifer Gera, of Texas. two sons Rick, husband of Kim Bennett, of Shenandoah; Andrew Gera III., of Grapevine, Texas; two brothers, Larry, husband of Lisa Bennett, of Frackville; Ralph Bennett, of Frackville;

She is also survived by Hailey Bennett., Granddaughter. Allyson Bennett., Neice. Larry Bennett III. Nephew, and preceded in death by Late Scott Bennett., Nephew.

Interment private at convenience of the Family.

Diana Marie Dankulich
, 59, formerly of Lake Wynonah, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 5th, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.

Born in Cheyenne, WY at Warren Air Force hospital on February 18, 1965, she was a daughter of the late John W. Cragen, Jr. & Patricia D. (McDonald) Cragen of New Foundland CA She spent her youth in Massachusetts until moving to Pennsylvania.

She was the widow of John Paul Dankulich who preceded her in death in 2011.

Diana was a beach enthusiast growing up along the bay. She had been a lifeguard and taught many children the joy of swimming.

Diana was happiest when she was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by three children of whom she was so proud: Riana West & husband, Warner, Port Carbon, James Dankulich, Lake Wynonah, & Patricia Dankulich, Pottsville, two grandchildren: Warner III, & Eliza, three siblings: John W. Cragen, III, Palmyra, Thomas Cragen, & Michelle Grigg, both of Kulpmont, and nieces & nephews.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 15th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.

Paul F. Haller, Jr.
, 43, of Westwood St., Minersville, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at home.

Born on December 6, 1980 in Reading, he was a son of Cynthia T. Machamer Schwenk and husband Larry and the late Paul F. Haller, Sr..

Paul was a laborer and heavy equipment operator at Weiner Metal in Pottsville.

His family, cars and work were his life.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Marguerite and George Haller, Donald Machamer and Joyce Reindhour; a niece, Mercedes Mozloom.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Christopher Haller of Schuylkill Haven; two daughters, Sapphire Haller and Aurora Haller, both of Minersville; his companion of 20 years and fiancé, Elizabeth Zimmerman of Minersville; 5 grandchildren, Xander, Levi, Alexander, Owen and Lakelynn; his best friend, Dave Kalbach, Jr. nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. Graveside Services and interment will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cressona Cemetery, Ash St. in Cressona, with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory to help with expenses.

Rachel Elizabeth Ritchings
, 18, of Minersville, formerly of New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, at home.

Born on August 11, 2005 in Long Branch, NJ, she was a daughter of Lee Ritchings, New Jersey, and Mary (Sheldon) Ritchings, Minersville, and Lee Brown, Minersville.

Rachel was a student at Schuylkill I.U. 29 in Marlin Pa, where she was well-loved. She loved school, her friends, singing, dancing, loved animals, and many other activities.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Ritchings, in 2019 and her grandmother, Anne M. Kilian in 2021.

In addition to her parents, Rachel is survived by her maternal grandfather, David Sheldon, Florida; her Great Uncle, John Sandle, Quakertown; her Aunt, Kristen Sandle-Ruth and her husband, Justin Ruth, of Telford.

Rayanne Greising
, 47, passed away peacefully at her home in Shenandoah on Sunday, May 5, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Rayanne was born in Wilkes-Barre, on November 5, 1976, a daughter of the late Raymond Cragle and Gail (Pearson) Cragle of Hunlock Creek, PA. She was a graduate of the Northwest high school, and worked in many areas, lastly a custodian for the Shenandoah Valley School District, and a dietary aide at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center. Rayanne enjoyed arts and crafts as well as spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Gail, Rayanne is survived by her husband of 11 years, Joshua Greising along with her children, Ryan Pennypacker, Dakota Greising, Ty Greising and Lily Greising.

She is also survived by her siblings, Debbie Edwards and Raymond Cragle, along with a nephew, Dylan Edwards.

Rayanne's family will be hosting a celebration of life ceremony in her honor at the Aurand United Memorial Church, West Main Street on Monday, May 13th, at 3 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family from 2-3 PM at the church prior to the 3 PM service.

The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home is assisting Rayanne's family during this their time of need.

Carole Fanok
, 81, of Lake Wynonah, died Monday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

She was born in MarLin pa, March 28th, 1943, to Andrew and Olga (Siroka) Fanok. Carole was a 1961 Graduate of Minersville area High school. She then graduated from Ashland State hospital as a Lab tech, in 1963. She then moved to New Jersey, and made a great friend at work in Jane Terefenko.

Jane liked Carole so much that she married her brother Buddy! After Many years working in this field, she decided she wanted to get her Bachelors degree in Nursing, so she decided to join the United States Air Force reserve, attending basic training in San Antonio Texas. She remained in San Antonio, attending the University of Texas there, while working weekends as a flight nurse in the Air Force reserve. She Graduated from the University of Texas in 1984, and spent the next 30 years as a labor and Delivery nurse in the San Antonio area. She has been credited with delivering more than 7,000 babies while in Texas, many of them were military families.

Upon retiring, she returned to Schuylkill County, residing in Lake Wynonah. She loved to feed the deer there, buying feed in 50 pound bags at tractor supply. She continued to root for her Beloved San Antonio Spurs, or Texas Longhorns, and root against the dreaded Texas A&M Aggies. She was longtime member the NRA, enjoyed shooting her rifle, and bashing Obama.

Carole was preceded in death her parents, Andrew and Olga, A stepfather Joseph Kostyal Sr, an older brother Andrew (Buddy) and his wife Jane Terefenko, and baby brother Ricky. She is survived by a Sister, Bonnie Worchick, widow of the late Mike Worchick, two brothers, Joseph J Kostyal Jr, and wife Julie. Jeffrey Kostyal, and wife Lisa, and 11 Nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family all services shall be private.

Interment St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
