Born in Edenburg, PA on January 22, 1946, he was a son of the late Helen (Adams) and Clarence Wink.
Married 52 years, Ernest was the widower of Karen F. (Bensinger) Wink who passed away in 2019.
Ernest was a 1963 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
He was employed at Omnova Solutions, Auburn for 41 years.
Ernest served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven. He was also a proud life member of Schuylkill Hose No 2 and the East Ward Social Club.
Ernest is survived by a daughter, Adrienne Wink, of Schuylkill Haven; a son, Matthew Wink, of Glen Rock; a grandson, Cody Wink, of Schuylkill Haven; two sisters, Ethel Lanari, of Hamburg and Linda Hill, of Cressona; and his beagle, Nancy.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to St. John's United Church of Christ, 121 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven 17972 or Schuylkill Hose No 2, 51 S. St. Peter St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
Services and interment are private at the convenience of the family.

Richard A. Fryer, Jr., 70, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 29th at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville on July 22nd, 1954, he was a son of the late Richard A. Fryer, Sr. and Ruth E. (Kemmerling).
Married 41 years, Rick was the husband of Linda M. (Rhody) Fryer.
Rick was a 1972 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
He was employed as a delivery driver for Koch’s Turkey Farm.
Rick was the president of the Schuylkill Haven Little League, Soccer Club, and the Schuylkill County Youth Soccer Association. He also served as a member of the Schuylkill Haven Recreation Department and Schuylkill Haven Junior Hurricanes.
In addition to his wife, Rick is survived by four children: Kelly Davis, of Frackville, Kevin Fryer (Jessica), of Lake Wynonah, Eric Fryer (Lindsey), of Schuylkill Haven, and Bradley Fryer (Allison), of Pine Grove. He is also survived by grandchildren: Alexis, Madison, Kassidy, Abby, Ava, Cullen, Briella, Myllah and great grandchildren: Scarlett and Nikolai.
In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Frederick Davis.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, May 5th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 6th at the funeral home. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park.

Richard J. Frye, 65 years of age of East Brunswick Twp. New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Allentown Pennsylvania.
Born Friday, January 15, 1960 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania Richard is survived by; mother, Dorothy (Zaprazny) Frye; sisters, Patricia Doemer and her husband David , and Carol Frye.
Richard was predeceased by; his father, Howard Frye on March 1, 2011.
A 1979 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Richard operated Frye's Transmission. Richard enjoyed attending antique auctions and baseball card sports shows. Richard enjoyed the company of his cats and dogs.
