Born on July 24, 2014 in Lebanon, he was the beloved son of Omar Vazquez and Karen Quiroz.
Jay Jay was a fourth grade student at Pine Grove Area Elementary School, where he received numerous recognitions for his kindness and helpfulness. Jay Jay was also a strong young man who was willing to help anyone. A true inspiration to all.
He was affiliated with ACC Ephrata Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Alessandro Vazquez; maternal grandparents, Maria and Daniel Quiroz; paternal grandparents, Jose and Patricia Vazquez; aunts and uncles, Eric Quiroz, Katherine Quiroz, Giancarlo Quiroz, Erika Vazquez, Antonio Vazquez, Gerardo Vazquez, Karla Vazquez, and Leslie Vazquez; along with many cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove. There will be a viewing on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Penn State Children's Hospital, Checks should be made payable to “Penn State”, with PSH Children’s Hospital noted in the memo and mailed to the Development Office at P.O. Mildred M. Potts, 101 of St. Clair, passed Monday May 5, 2025, at the Gardens at York Terrance.Born in Pottsville, August 16, 1923, She was a daughter of the late Roy and Catherine (Schell) Hughes.
She retired as a Machine Operator at St. Clair Garment Factory.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, St. Clair.
She was preceded in death by her husband 1st husband Michael Vinc in 1975; her 2nd husband Kenneth Potts in 2017; Daughter in law Mary Alice Vinc; 3 sisters Margaret Garrett, Betty Russell and Doris Dehner
Surviving are son Michael "Jack" Vinc of Chesapeake City, MD; son David Vinc and his wife LouAnn of St. Clair; son Ronald Vinc and his wife Denise of St. Clair; 2 step-sons Kenneth Potts Jr. of Schuylkill Haven; Daryle Potts of Melanio a sister Gladys Davis of Schuylkill Haven. Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday May 12, 2025 at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. St. Clair, PA 17970 with Rev. Robert Schaeffer officiating . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 120 N Mill St., St. Clair, PA 17970. Interment will be private in Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair. Doris Irene Faust, 91, of Cressona, passed away Saturday, May 3rd, at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville on April 20, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Charles Knoll & Gertrude (Jameson) Behney.
She was the widow of Allen Ramon Faust.
Doris is a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Friedensburg.
She worked as a folder at Bo-Jan textile factory.
Doris is survived by three children: Edward Faust, Cressona, Dennis Faust, New Philadelphia, & Doreen Davidson, Elk Ridge, PA, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two siblings: Linda Brown, wife of Roger, Pine Grove, & Lewis Behney, husband of Betty, Friedensburg, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by siblings: Chester Knoll, Franklin Knoll, Helen Knight, Shirley Dillman, Tommy Behney, & Robert Knoll, granddaughter, Jennifer L. Faust Otto, and daughters-in-law, Rose (Bitzer) Faust, & Mary Faust.

Raymond J. Green Jr, 87, of Barry Twp., passed away on Friday April 25th at Lehigh Valley Hospital South, Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Raymond and Rebecca (Horning) Green, Sr.
Raymond was a 1956 graduate of Minersville High School. He was a self-employed contractor and Manager of the Schuylkill County Airport . He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was of the Methodist Faith.
He was a member of Cressona Masonic Lodge 222 where he served as Past Worshipful Master and Secretary . He was a member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association) and HOG (Harley Owners Group).
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Frank) Green (married 53 years); a sister Darlene Dolzani (Raymond & daughters Kim & Tara), Orwigsburg; special nieces Stephanie Bernardyn (Mark & daughters Noel, Payton & Kendal) and Janelle Tewksbury (Justin & daughters Madison, Victoria,& Athena); brother-in-law John Frank (Marlene & children John, David & Jennifer) other nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 14th at 9:45AM from the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Relatives and Friends can call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9AM until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions in Raymond’s memory to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963.

Retired Airforce Tech Sgt Robert (Bob) L. Chubb, 86, of Ashland passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Danville Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Mowry December 16th, 1938 to the late Mildred Zigenfuse and Melvin Chubb of Mowry.
Survived by: wife Alice M. (Korn) Chubb. Preceded in death by son, Michael Chubb and surviving spouse Liz (Zdan) of Woodbridge VA. Survived by stepchildren Sharon K. (Roche) Guerrazzi and spouse Jacqueline of South Bound Brook, NJ; Joseph Billus and spouse Pauline (Sabo) of Ashland; Mark Billus and spouse Sandy (Eye) of Girardville; Renee (Billus) Mateer of Harrisburg; William Billus and girlfriend Tonia Wolfgang of Ashland.
Brothers: the late Dale Chubb and spouse, Christine (Caruse) of Danville; Gary Chubb and the late spouse, Donna (Helwig) of Quakertown; Randy Chubb and spouse Cora (Puckett) of Yankeetown, FL. Brother-in-law: Edward Korn and spouse Jill (Hatzel) of Fleetwood. 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from the former Ashland High School in 1956. He joined the U.S. Airforce immediately after graduation. Was stationed in Germany, Japan, Vietnam, and Iceland. Retired from the Airforce in 1976 with military honors. He also was a Vietnam Veteran.
In addition to his Airforce career Bob also worked as a security guard for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at the Camp Hill prison, Boscov’s Department Store and Jetson Direct Mail.
He was an active member of Ashland VFW, post #7654, Ashland American Legion post #434 and American Hose Company, of Ashland.
Bob was a true patriot and served his country honorably. Bob received 3 medals of honor during his military service. After his first wife, Ruth, whom he met while stationed in Germany, passed away he was reunited with his high school sweetheart Alice (Korn) Billus of Ashland who was a widow herself and had 5 children of her own. They were married in 1980 and after 44 years of marriage they were still very much in love. He was a devoted husband, father, step father and grandfather. Bob loved playing slots at the casinos, watching game shows, soap operas, football (Go Eagles) and westerns and spending time with his family.
Friends and Relatives are invited to a viewing to held at held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home at 1323 Center Street, Ashland from 6-8pm. A closed casket memorial service for Bob and his son Mike will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Zions Reformed United Church of Christ, 2400 Center Street, Ashland, at 10:00 am. They will be laid to rest with Bob’s first wife and Mike’s mother, Sonja Ruth (Gishas) Chubb at Sunnyside Cemetary in Lavelle immediately following the service. Visit www.
