Hersheypark has announced the grand opening of its newest high-thrill attraction, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity, on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
The record-breaking ride will be the tallest Screamin’ Swing in the world, taking thrill-seekers on a soaring pendulum ride like no other.
Manufactured by S&S Worldwide, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will tower 137 feet above Hersheypark, offering guests an unforgettable 70-second ride filled with zero-G sensations and speeds up to 68 mph. Located in The Hollow region of the park, the ride promises a visually stunning and adrenaline-pumping experience as riders swing high above Spring Creek.
The attraction is designed with a sweet twist—literally. Riders from Hershey’s height category (48”-54”) and up will be seated in one of four gondola zones themed after popular Twizzlers flavors: Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate, and Black Licorice. Each zone brings vibrant branding and candy-themed flair to the experience.
Early Access for Season Pass Holders
While the general public will have their first chance to ride on May 24, 2025 King Size and Giant Size Season Pass Holders will get exclusive early access during First To Ride events on Thursday, May 22, and Friday, May 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pass holders will also enjoy perks such as unlimited visits, free tickets, a souvenir cup, and early summer access to the park.
The Summer of Twizzlers
To mark the ride’s launch, Hersheypark is turning the entire summer into a Twizzlers celebration. Guests can expect a wide range of themed experiences throughout the park, including:
- Photo ops with the new Twizz Character at the Twizzlers Terrace, which overlooks The Hollow and the new ride
- Limited-time food and drink creations, such as the Twisted Strawberry King Size Shake topped with a Twizzlers mousse pop, a Twisted Strawberry Sundae, a Twizzlers-inspired burger, Twisted French Fry Flight, and a Twizzlers-themed coaster dog
- Colorful apparel and souvenirs featuring red-and-blue Twizzlers Twisted Gravity gear, available at Hersheypark Supply Co.
A Sweet Summer at Hersheypark
Twizzlers Twisted Gravity joins an already impressive lineup of more than 70 rides, 15 roller coasters, an 11-acre water park (The Boardwalk, opening May 24), and ZooAmerica—all included in a single Hersheypark admission ticket. Daily summer operations begin Thursday, May 22.
