She was born in Minersville on September 30, 1938, and was the daughter of the late William Chattin and Mildred (Clifford) Chattin.
Sharon was a former member of the United Church of Christ Church in Pottsville. She was a graduate of Conrad Weiser High School in Womelsdorf. She also worked at the former YMCA in Pottsville.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Chattin; her sister, Joy Watkins; and her great-granddaughter, Grace Witwer.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Daub, wife of Robin, of Robesonia; her daughter, Sherri L. Bowers of Wyomissing; her brother, Bruce P. Chattin, husband of Laura, of Pottsville; and her sister, Mildred Kolp of Lancaster. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A religious service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair, with Rev. Jack Culbert officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at a later date in Mount Peace Cemetery, Minersville.
