Donna M. Wylam
, 78, of St. Clair, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. She was born in Pottsville on April 27, 1947.

Donna was the daughter of the late Donald O'Leary and Beatrice (Horan) O'Leary.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. "Chuck" Wylam, who passed away in 2017. She is also preceded in death by her brother, David O'Leary.

Donna was of the Catholic faith. She was a graduate of St. Clair High School. Donna worked as a bartender at the Old Buckhorn Café in St. Clair.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Wylam, husband of Chrissy, of Shoemakersville; her son, Donny Wylam of St. Clair; her grandson, Brent; her granddaughter, Toni; her grandson, Don Jr.; and her great-grandson, Cory.

A Memorial Service will be held at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Deacon John Sutter officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair.

James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc., St. Clair, is entrusted with arrangements.

Christopher R. Walck
, 61, of Lehighton and formerly of McAdoo, passed away Tuesday at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem.

Born in Hazleton, he is the son of James B. Walck, of McAdoo, and the Late Suzanne (Cullen) Walck.

Christopher was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo, and a graduate of Marian Catholic High School, class of 1983.

He was an avid Phillies, Eagles and WWF fan, and loved watching ‘The Three Stooges.’

Christopher was a friendly and kind man, he always shared a big smile and said ‘hello’ to everyone. He will be greatly missed by many.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his siblings, Joseph and wife Janet, of Silverbrook; Michael, of Tamaqua; Gabriella Trostle and husband Timothy, of Dillsburg; James J., of McAdoo; and Matthew and wife Amanda, of Drums; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His funeral will be held Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo. The Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mark Fesniak as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Steven “Steve” Yourchak, of Black Heath, passed away Sunday Septemeber 21, 2025 at LVHN Schuylkill East.

Born in Primrose, December 21, 1928, he was a son of the late John and Annie (Drobick) Yourchak.

He attended Cass Township Schools before joining the US Army in 1947. Following his Army Service, he served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He then went on to work at the post billeting division at Fort Indiantown Gap.

Steve was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville; South Cass Fire Co.; American Legion Post 544; Amvets Post 72.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew Yourchak in 1999; Walter Yourchak in 2004. Step Brothers Frank Marchowsky; Stanley Marchowsky; Joseph Marchowsky and John Marchowsky.

Surviving are neighbors and caregivers, Traci, JT and Kameron Thomas along with his angels at Schuylkill Center Sue, Anna, Dottie and Chrissy.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday September 26, 2025 from Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 200 Sunbury St. Minersville, PA 17954. Rev. Mark Fesniak will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church Memorial Fund, 415 N. Front St. Minersville, PA 17954 or South Cass Citizens Fire Company, 14 Water Lane, Pottsville, PA 17901 . Burial will be in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Llewellyn.
