Born in Schuylkill Haven on June 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late May C. (Berger) and Harry M. Felty.
Shirley was the wife of the late Bruce A. Croneberger, who passed away in 2019.
She was a 1952 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
Shirley last worked as a transit proof clerk at Schuylkill Haven Trust Co. where she was employed for 33 years.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Brenda, wife of Terry Ellex, of Cressona, and a son, Bruce Croneberger II, husband of Beth, of Valley View. She is also survived by grandchildren: Bruce Croneberger III, husband of Erika, of Schuylkill Haven; Bradley Croneberger husband of Pam, of Valley View; Zachary Ellex, husband of Amanda, of Cressona; Brooke Sims, of Dornsife; Alicia, wife of Jon Donnelly, of Cressona; and great grandchildren: Brayden, Elijah, Bradley, Remington, Madilyn, Brynleigh, & Harmony.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by great granddaughters, Bailey & Brianna Croneberger, and siblings: Thelma Thrush, Mildred Perock, Earle Felty, and Jean Gerhard.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 23rd at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Mark Dewald officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of services.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
At the family’s request, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ, 121 E Main St. Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Eduardo Barcenas-Moncada, of Shenandoah, passed away tragically due to an accident on Sunday, September 14th, 2025.
Eduardo was born in Ranchito de los Hernandez, San Diego de la Union, Guanajuato, Mexico on October 15th 1966, a son of Maria Consuelo Moncada Ramirez and the late Eduardo Barcenas-Gutierrez.
He had been living in the Shenandoah area and worked for Potts Nurseries in Berks County for over 30 years. Eduardo was a devout member and attendee at the Divine Mercy Church in Shenandoah. In his younger years, Eduardo excelled at playing soccer and baseball, and currently enjoyed watching those sports.
Eduardo is survived by his four children, Karina Barcenas, Consuelo Barcenas, Eduardo Barcenas and Relles Barcenas. Two brothers, Salvador Barcenas-Moncada and Lucas Barcenas-Moncada also survive along with four sisters, Yolanda, Socorro, Ester and Dolores.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, September 20th, from 9-11 AM at the Divine Mercy Church, West Cherry Street, Shenandoah, followed by the celebration of A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM concelebrated by Father Royce and Father Johnson.
Eduardo will be laid to rest in his home country of Mexico following the services in Shenandoah.

Theodore J. Souchack, 77 of Frackville, passed away surrounded by his family on September 17, 2025 at St. Luke's Geisinger, Orwigsburg, PA. He was the husband of Nancy J. Souchack for 55 years. Born in Shenandoah Heights, he was the son of the late Theodore F. and Irene (Robel) Souchuck. Ted was a graduate of J.W. Cooper High School, and the Pennsylvania State University (We Are!) with a degree in Business. He returned to Shenandoah to manage and own Souchuck Lumber, Inc., with his father and brother Glenn.
Ted served as a First Lieutenant the in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Ted was an active member of the Frackville Jaycees, a coach for Frackville Litle League, and a coach for the Frackville Mountaineers. He was an avid fly fisherman, sportsman, and enjoyed a day out golfing. Ted was a sports enthusiast, cheering for the Penn State Nittany Lions sports teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, and Philadelphia Phillies.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Amanda wife of Joseph Campbell, Ringtown, PA; one son, Greg husband of Valerie Souchack, Ashburn, VA; sister, Joyce Alshefski, wife of John, Reading, PA; brother, Glenn Souchuck, husband of Karen, Frackville, PA; 5 Grandchildren, Sarah, Regan, Joseph B. IV, Ryan, and Jordan. Grand puppies Avalon, Lacey, and Pudge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 25 S. Balliet St., Frackville, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in church. Burial with be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his memory to the Great Cycle Challenge -Ted Souchack, an annual bicycle riding fundraiser to “Kick Cancer’s Butt”, which Ted rode his e-bike 504 miles and raised over $18,600 over the past 5 years.
