Donald "Rocky" Weaver
, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at home in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 16, 1936, in Pleasant Corners, Lehigh County, Donald was the son of the late Robert Sr. and Mildred (Scheirer) Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Janet Weaver, and his brother, Paul Weaver.

Donald is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Rose Marie (Bierstein) Weaver. He leaves behind a legacy through his daughter and dedicated caregiver, Christine M. Stianche and her husband Michael; his son, Jeffrey A. Weaver and his companion Lori White; his brother, Robert Weaver, Jr.; his grandchildren, Courtney Tenisci and her husband Joe, and Brett Weaver and his wife Alicia; and his great-grandchildren, Sophia and Emilia Tenisci, and Ali Weaver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A man of integrity and good humor, Donald retired from the Tamaqua Area School District after 22 years of service. He worked at both the Tamaqua Junior High School and later at Rush Elementary, where he cherished his interactions with both staff and students. Before his time with the school district, Donald was employed by D.C. Spinosa Contracting. Donald looked forward to mornings spent at the former Hope's Mini Market.

An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, Donald was also an ardent Philadelphia sports fan, finding joy in cheering for the Phillies and Eagles. He was a long-standing member of St. John's U.C.C. in Tamaqua.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 East Broad street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. (570) 668-2550

Funeral Services will be held at noon on Tuesday November 18 from St John's U.C.C. 150 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. Friends and family may call in church on the morning of services for 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.

Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Nancy A Miller
, age 89, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Providence Place, Pine Grove.

She was born on Monday, July 6, 1936, in Tremont, a daughter of the late Fred L Seiger and the late Thelma L (Rumpf) Seiger.

Nancy was a 1954 graduate of the former Tremont High School.

She and her late husband owned and operated the former Miller Funeral Home, Valley View, she then worked at Zemco, Williamstown until her retirement .

Nancy enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert H Miller, Sr., passed away in 2001.

She is survived by a son, Robert H (Sandra) Miller, Jr. of Schuylkill Haven; a daughter, Beth A (Kevin) Ebersole of Hegins; three grandsons, Jason Ebersole of Hegins, Travis (Allison) Ebersole of Minersville, and Zachary Miller of Schuylkill Haven; great granddaughter, Jordyn Gaw of Herndon; great grandson, Luke Ebersole of Minersville; great great grandson, Bryson Gaw; and a brother, Charles Seiger of Mifflinburg; .

Private services will be held at the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
