Harold J. Delaney, 84, formerly of Minersville, passed away Tuesday November 3, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Pottsville August 30, 1941 he was a son of the late Harold and Dorothy (Krobath) Delaney.

A graduate of Nativity BVM high school, he served as a Priest for the Diocese of Allentown from 1968-1975. He later went to work as a warehouse manager for IGA and also part time at Wine & Spirits.

Harold enjoyed Golfing, playing in softball leagues and was a fan of all Philadelphia Sports teams. He was a member of the Teamsters in Reading; Kiwanis member in Berks County.

He was a member of the former St. Kieran Roman Catholic Church, Heckshersville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion Mary Triviets in 2001.

Surviving are a sister Joan Marie Motuk and her husband Leon of Minersville; Nephews Lonnie Motuk widower of Maureen of Florence NJ; David Motuk and his companion Teri Salle of Minersville; Tracee Levonas and her husband Tom of W. West Terrace; Great Nieces and Nephews Hailee Levonas; Brady Levonas; Jordan Motuk; Jackie Motuk; Mary’s children Glenn Triviets, his wife Wendy and their son Maxwell; Steven Triviets and his companion Tammy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Saturday October 8, 2025 from St. Michael the Archangel Church 529 Sunbury St. Minersville, PA 17954 with Rev. Jojappa Adagatta officiating. Friends may call from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011. Burial will be private at St. Paul Cemetery, New Schaefferstown. Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care Inc. Minersville is in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Kovalesky
, 70, of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025.

Joe was born in Shenandoah on October 10, 1955, a son of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Sanders) Kovalesky. He was a graduate of the Shenandoah Valley High School, and was retired, having worked for over 40 years for the Hershey Company.

Joe was also a well known carpet installer in the local area, and was very handy, having the ability to work on anything that he came across from homes to automobiles.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Petrus in August of 2021.

Joe is survived by a son Robert Kovalesky, and his wife Jessica of Marietta, Georgia. He is also survived by three granddaughters who he loved dearly, Ella, Ada and Clara. His sister, Mary Anne Kovalesky, also survives.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with Joe's family on Monday, November 17th, 2025 from 10 am until 12 Noon at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. Joe will be laid to rest at the Annunciation BVM Cemetery in Shenandoah privately.
