Pine Grove used a dominant first half and a balanced scoring effort to secure a 54–38 road victory over Minersville on Friday night.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 15–6 lead after the first quarter and extended their advantage to 27–10 by halftime, fueled by strong defensive pressure and efficient shooting. Minersville began to find its rhythm in the second half, cutting the deficit to 35–24 after three quarters, but Pine Grove closed the game on a steady run to seal the win.

With the win, Pine Grove improves to 2–1 on the season and returns home Tuesday to host North Schuylkill.
Minersville, now 0–1, will look to rebound when they welcome Panther Valley on Tuesday.
