Jacob Tyler Vevasis, 32, of Girardville, was arraigned on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 on both cases. Charges for each had been formally filed on November 24th, 2025. Vevasis is charged with multiple counts of felony drug delivery and possession with intent to deliver, along with numerous misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia offenses.
Case #1: July 8, 2025 Arrest Following Encounter on Raven Run Road
In the first case, Vevasis is charged by West Mahanoy Township Police with the following offenses from July 8, 2025:
- Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Deliver (F)
- Intentional Possession of a Controlled Substance by Person Not Registered (M)
- Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M)
According to the affidavit, a police officer patrolling Raven Run Road observed a vehicle linked to a wanted fugitive and stopped to investigate. After speaking with the vehicle’s passenger, the officer continued patrolling and soon encountered a man on an electric pedacycle wearing an orange and white helmet entering the same property.
Believing the man might be the wanted fugitive, the officer approached. The operator—later identified as Vevasis—initially provided a false name and refused identification before eventually admitting his identity. Police confirmed an active felony warrant for drug delivery charges from a prior case.
Upon taking Vevasis into custody, officers recovered:
The second case stems from a June 13, 2024 search warrant executed at 432 Furnace Street, Shenandoah, where Vevasis lived with his girlfriend.
He faces 19 charges by Schuylkill County Detectives, including:
At approximately 6:01 a.m., members of the Pennsylvania State Police SERT Team forcibly entered the residence after receiving no response. His girlfriend was detained, informed of the warrant, and interviewed.
According to the affidavit:
His girl admitted she was addicted to fentanyl and she claimed "Some drugs found in the living room were hers" and “All other drugs” in the residence belonged to Vevasis. She also told investigators that Vevasis routinely sold drugs and had “five to ten customers.”
She knew him only to sell “down” (heroin/fentanyl).
A detailed, room-by-room search revealed an extensive assortment of controlled substances, firearms, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia. Items seized included:
Additionally, numerous personal items linking Vevasis to the residence were seized, including mail, bank cards, AAA cards, and prescription bottles.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for December 18th, 2025 at Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker’s office.

- Multiple containers with methamphetamine and fentanyl
- Over 50 small drug-packaging baggies
- A digital scale
- Glass pipes with residue
- “Cut Dope” (tested positive for fentanyl)
- $3,000 vacuum-sealed cash
- Additional loose cash recovered from Vevasis totaling $3,713
- Field tests confirmed the seized substances were methamphetamine and fentanyl.
- Police noted the cash denominations—primarily $1s, $5s, $10s, and $20s—were consistent with street-level drug distribution.

- 53.6 grams — Fentanyl/Xylazine mixture
- 49.235 grams — Fentanyl
- 36.75 grams — Oxycodone/Acetaminophen
