---------------------------------------------------Robert J. White, 78, of Cressona passed away Saturday at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Orwigsburg. He was a resident at Seton Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Coatesville, September 14, 1947, he was the son of the late James and Miriam McDonald White.
Robert was a graduate of Coatesville Area High School in 1966. After high school Robert entered the United States Army where he served two tours in Vietnam. He was also a member of the National Guard in the 80s.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Robert worked his entire life as an electrician and was employed by many companies in the area.
He was a member of Schuylkill Christian Church. Robert was heavily involved with Promise Keepers, Men’s Ministry. He also volunteered with prison ministry, Sunday School, church board membership and other volunteer work. Robert was also a proud member of the Central Pennsylvania Gospel Band.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife June who passed away in 2024. He is also preceded in death by his brother Dave Bunting. He was also preceded by his beloved dog, Radar, who passed away in May.
Robert is survived by his two sons: Jason husband to Michele of Long Island, NY and Jeremy husband to Donna of Orwigsburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, Autumn White fiancé to Rob Boykin, and Alexa White. He is also survived by his great grandchild, Lillian Boykin and step-grandchild J.D. Lohman husband to Marissa.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap at the convenience of the family.

Ronald G Spotts, age 86 of Valley View, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on September 11, 1939, in Sunbury, a son of the late Harry Spotts and the late Elsie Long Spotts.
Ronald was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
He served in the US Army from 1958-1964.
Ronald was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View
His wife, Rosemarie Kreiser Spotts, passed away in 2018. He was also preceded in death by a son,, Jamie Spotts.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda M Spotts; two granddaughters, Abrie Spotts and Ariana Settles; a grandson, Andrew Settles; great-grandchild, Dahlia Russ-Spotts ; brother, Richard Spotts ; and a sister, Gladys Whitcomb.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
