At the end of each semester, Ohio University's undergraduate students are evaluated based on their semester GPA and hours to determine placement on the President's List, Dean's List or Provost's List.
The President's List distinction is presented to undergraduate students who exhibit an exceptional commitment to academic excellence each semester. Criteria for the President's List include a 4.0 GPA for the given semester with a minimum of 12 credit hours attempted for letter grades that are used to calculate GPA.
In fall semester 2025, approximately 2,500 Ohio University undergraduate students qualified for OHIO's President's List.

Scout Courreges Named to University of Mississippi Fall 2025 Chancellor's Honor Roll
Scout Courreges, of Pottsville, PA, was named to the University of Mississippi's Fall 2025 Honor Roll.
Courreges, in the B.S. in Psychology program, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
"We are very proud of the students earning the Chancellor's Honor Roll designation," Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "This recognition reflects their academic excellence and achievements and exemplifies the hard work, commitment and dedication that define our university community."
To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
Lydia Price inducted into Frederick Douglass Institute for Academic Excellence
Lydia Price, of Ashland, PA, was inducted as a student scholar into Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg's Frederick Douglass Institute for Academic Excellence (FDIAE).
