Mark J. Krull, 65, of New Philadelphia, finally went home Saturday, February 14th.
Born in Pottsville on October 11, 1960, he was a son of the late Eleanor (Mickonis) Krull and Edward Krull, Sr.
He was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia.
Mark was last employed by M&Q Packaging as an extrusion operator.
He is survived by four siblings: Elaine Dalvet, wife of Thomas, Donata Villella, wife of Thomas, Edward Krull, Jr., & Damian Krull, husband of Deborah, his nieces & nephews: Derek Dalvet, husband of Amy, Dr. Karen Bukoski, wife of Gary, Rachel Ferreira, wife of Kevin, Thomas Villella, Jr., & Dmitri Krull, husband of Jasmine, and his great-nieces & great-nephews: Kaida, Emerson, Easton, James, & Jacob.
Mark loved building puzzles, woodworking, golf, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was the last person to paint the big cross in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, February 20th at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia. A Viewing will be held at the church from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will ne held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Philadelphia.
Mark's family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 99 Valley St., New Philadelphia PA 17959 or Good Intent Fire Company, 15 Macomb St., New Philadelphia, PA 17959.

Frank J. Chiplonia, 93, of Palo Alto, passed away Friday, February 13th, at his son’s home surrounded by his family.
Frank was born in Pottsville on January 28, 1933, he was a son of the late Ralph & Anna (Zawatsky) Chiplonia.
He was widowed twice, first to Janet Brinich Chiplonia in 1974, & also by Beatrice Mirabello Chiplonia in 2003.
Frank was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair, and was a former member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Pottsville.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
For 43 years, Frank worked as a crane operator at Schuylkill Products, Cressona.
He was loyal Pottsville Crimson Tide fan and a die-hard Phillies fan. He looked forward to his annual trip to Citizens Bank Park with his son and grandchildren. His happiest days were spent watching his great grandchildren play on the basketball court and baseball field. While at home he enjoyed making his homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs, playing lottery tickets and enjoyed a good Newport light.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was also preceded in death by his siblings: Julian Chiplonia, Mary Hess, & Rose Kauffman.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Chiplonia & wife, Jayne, Pottsville, two grandchildren: Gina Chiplonia-Swircek & husband, John, and Matthew Chiplonia, great-grandsons: Tyler & Chase Swircek, brother, Thomas Chiplonia, Pottsville, and nieces & nephews.
A Viewing will be held at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona on Sunday, February 22nd from 4-6 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, February 23rd at St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair with Mon. William Glosser officiating.
Interment will follow St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Pottsville.

Robert Kasarda, 77, of McAdoo, passed away Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the Late John and Helen (Christina) Kasarda. Robert was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring from KME Fire Apparatus, Nesquehoning, Robert was employed as a plumber for many years.
He was a longtime member of the Pipefitters Union, Plumbers Union and the Steamfitters, Pipefitters and Plumbers United Assoc., Local Union 524. Robert was also a life member of the McAdoo Fire Company, where he served as Past President.
Preceding him in death were his son, Robert J. “Bobby” Kasarda, and brothers, John, Richard and Vincent Kasarda.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Margaret (Billig) Kasarda; grandson, Nicholas J. Kasarda, Tresckow; sisters, Bernadine Kisatsky, Harleigh; Eleanor Sandrock and husband, Robert, Quakake, and Mary Vito and husband, Carmen, Beech Mountain; brother, Ronald Kasarda, Tresckow; and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, February 23. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
A calling hour will be held Monday, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
The Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family.
