Madge was born, October 22, 1932, in Glenburn Twp. PA. She was the second of two children to John Ondrick and Mary (Gaidula) Ondrick (brother to late George Ondick).
She graduated from Clark Summit High School in 1950. Madge dedicated her life to her family, friends, and golf… not always in that order.
Madge went on to work for Abington Heights School District then The Globe Store. Madge spent many summers playing golf with Tony at the Scranton Canoe Club where she won handful of club titles in the 70s and was a member of BGA golf league. In 1993 she moved to Orwigsburg, PA and worked at Blue Mountain Cable until her retirement where she remained active with grandchildren, friends, and yes golf. The love of golf never left her, spending her children’s inheritance playing it well into her 80’s.
She had a brief stint rolling cigars at a factory in Scranton, PA before meeting her husband, the late Anthony (Tony) Miller. Married in 1954 she became a loving mother to Michele Mather of Coudersport PA. Cindy Heckrote, wife of Rick of Schuylkill Haven and Richard Miller husband to Cheryl of Pen Argyl, PA. She is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Mather, husband to Miriam, of Chesapeake, VA, Brynn Heckrote of Brooklyn NY, Kelcey Heckrote Petty wife of Dan of Leesport, PA and Jessica Miller of Pen Argyl, PA and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her favorite niece, Patty Miller Bowers.

Eugene Francis Rosenberger, Jr., 74, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, February 2nd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Gene was born in Pottsville on May 6, 1951, a son of the late Eugene F. Rosenberger, Sr. & Helen (Bicht) Rosenberger.
Together since 1970, he was the husband of Donna Lynn (Wingle) Rosenberger.
Gene was a 1969 graduate of Pottsville High School.
Employed as concrete finisher, Gene worked for George Lynn Construction and retired from Heim Construction in 2013.
Gene vacationed to Las Vegas over 25 times and enjoyed casinos. He also attended rock concerts for over 50 years.
In addition to his wife, Gene is also survived by his son, Matthew, husband of Heather Rosenberger, of Lititz.
At Gene’s request, no services will be celebrated.

Born in Brockton, MaryAnn was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Belsak) Lincovich. She graduated from Tamaqua High School in 1959 and later attended the Ford School of Business in Pottsville. Following her education, MaryAnn worked for the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. and subsequently held positions at several local sewing factories in Brockton and Tuscarora, as well as at Klingaman’s Office Supply in Tamaqua.
MaryAnn was deeply involved in her community. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Pottsville and the Tuscarora Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary. She also served her community as a former Judge of Elections in Tuscarora and as a former auditor for Schuylkill Township.
MaryAnn was an avid reader and an enthusiastic crossword puzzle solver, and she took particular joy in the music of Neil Diamond—especially “Sweet Caroline.” She had a deep love for animals and was a devoted supporter of the Hillside SPCA. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially blackjack and solitaire. Above all, her greatest pleasures were cooking for her family and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters, Danielle Daab and her husband Erik of Princeton, NJ, and Dena Sirsky of Hazleton; a son, Paul Delpais and his wife Amy of Orwigsburg; one granddaughter, Samantha Sirsky; four grandsons, Andrew Delpais and his wife Akira, Aaron Delpais, and Jackson and William Daab; one great-granddaughter, Arrietty Delpais; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Michael Lincovich.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Friends may call at the church from 9-10 AM Interment in St. Bertha Cemetery, Tuscarora, will take place at a later date.

Jane Culley, 94, of Llewellyn, passed away Friday morning at the Schuylkill l Center ..
Born in Minersville, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Catherine Bentz Holley. She went to school at Branch Township High School.
She was a retired LPN.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minersville, where she enjoyed being in the “Fun Beyond 50 Club”. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene J. Culley in 2013, to whom she was married to for 62 years, a son Paul Culley, a sister Elaine Bender, a sister Joy Whitby and a brother Mark Holley Jr.
She is survived by a daughter Jane Troutman and husband Bill, Indiana; a son James Culley, Reading; daughter Kathleen Kramer and husband Leonard, Llewellyn; and daughter-in-law Marion Culley, Germany (widow of Paul Culley), brother-in-law Ronald Whitby, Hanover, MD; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 11 AM from the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home from 9AM until the time of the service. Internment will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery, Minersville.
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Jane to the Zion Lutheran Church, 4th and Lewis St., Minersville. Contributions also be accepted at the funeral home. Verna A. Parker, 98, a resident of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026.
Verna was born in Ringtown on January 23, 1928, a daughter of the late William and Effie (Fuhrman) Rupert. She was a graduate of the former Ringtown High School and then moved to the Philadelphia area where she worked as a professional Nanny, and as a medical receptionist. Upon her return to the Ringtown valley, she continued her love of caring for children, babysitting for many years.
She was a member of the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church in Ringtown, the Ringtown Area Senior citizens, and enjoyed playing scrabble and cards with her friends. Verna was an excellent baker and also enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren R. Parker in 1978.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings Mae Tobin, Mary Polatz, Rae Gromalski, Jean Kline, Esther Lindenmuth, Evelyn Helock Mable Harris, Earl Rupert, Roy Rupert and Warren Rupert.
She is survived by her sons , Bruce Parker (Anne Marie) of Lafayette Hill, PA; and Reynold Parker (Helga) of Weston, PA. Three granddaughters, Colleen Parker and Danielle Hallahan (Michael) Stephanie Parker (Mathew); a grandson, Reynold Parker (Joanne); and a great granddaughter, Lexi Hallahan. A brother Paul Rupert (Ruth) also survives, along with many nieces and nephews.
Verna will be laid to rest alongside her husband Warren in St. John's Cemetery in Ringtown during private family services.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Aurand Memorial United Methodist Church on West Main Street in Ringtown at a date and time to be announced by the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Verna's name to the Ringtown Area Library.

Elvin A. Rotharmel, Jr., 69, a longtime resident of Berrysburg, currently of Tower City, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, with his family by his side.
Born in Harrisburg on February 12, 1956, a son of the late Elvin Sr. and Blanche Lubold Rotharmel. Elvin was a 1975 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School.
Elvin was a long time retired employee of Waste Management.
He was a very active and lifetime member of the Berrysburg Fire Company where he served with the fire police. He also was a member of the Short Mountain Gun Club.
Elvin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He had a knack for collecting "junk" which he considered treasures. Elvin was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything that was asked of him. He always looked forward to picnics with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa A. Schlegel Rotharmel, to whom he was married for 40 years; a son, Charles Rotharmel, Williamstown; four daughters, Melissa Rotharmel, Williamstown, Ashley Bryant (Dana), Williamstown, Rebecca Lenig (Daniel), Herndon, and Katie Bachir (Moustapha), Carlisle; twelve grandchildren; a sister, Sherry Ward, Lykens.
A Celebration of Elvin's Life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel.

Michael (Mike) Anthony formerly of Frackville and Fountain Springs passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026 at Fellowship Retirement Community in Whitehall, PA. He was 99 years old. Mike is predeceased by his wife Helen of 72 years. He was the son of Joseph and Mary (Gastin) Anthony.
Mike and his brothers, Joseph and Paul, owned and operated Anthonys Supermarket in Frackville, PA. His parents started the store in 1925 in the front of their home on oak street. Soon after they traveled with a panel truck “ at your door” around the Schuylkill County area before building their first supermarket in 1955 at Oak and third Streets. After outgrowing that store they built a new and expanded Anthonys Super Market in 1970 at Oak and 4th Streets.
During his active years in business, he was President of the supermarkets warehouse United Associated Grocers in Robesonia, PA and later became Co-Chairman of the board when the warehouse merged with Associated Wholesalers, Inc. Mike and his brothers sold the store in 1988 to take an early retirement.
Mike enjoyed music. He played the clarinet and saxophone during his career in a local dance band. He was an active member of the Frackville Lions Club and Knights of Columbus. He retired to Florida and enjoyed spending winters with family and friends. Mike and Helen enjoyed traveling. In his time at Fellowship, Mike started a Bocce Ball team and encouraged friends to form a group to shoot pool. Some of his pastimes included playing pool, doing puzzles, and playing pinochle with family and friends.
Mike is pre-deceased by his brothers Arthur, Joseph, and Paul Anthony. He is survived by two siblings, Helen Ferris of Wilmington, Delaware and Louis Anthony of Allentown, as well as four children, Michael (Mary Beth), Susan (David Stortz), Stephen, and Christine Kosman (Ronald ). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Mike was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Whitehall PA.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 49 N. Line Street, Frackville, PA on Friday February 6, 2026. Visitation 10am-11am. Burial will be private.
