The rally is scheduled for Friday, March 20th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Organizers say the main assembly point will be at the red light at the intersection of Spring Street and Route 209 in Tremont.
Participants are asked to remain on the sidewalks and will fan out along both sides of Route 209 throughout the borough.
Organizers emphasized that the event will be a peaceful protest. Those attending are encouraged to bring signs reflecting their individual reasons for opposing the proposed ICE facility.
