Performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 5th; Saturday, March 7th; and Sunday, March 8th. There will not be a performance on Friday, March 6th, in consideration of Williams Valley’s participation in the Girls’ Basketball State Playoffs.
The Addams Family is a musical based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. While the quirky and beloved family has appeared in numerous television and film adaptations — most notably the 1964–1966 television series starring John Astin, Caroline Jones, and Jackie Coogan — the stage musical is the first live theatrical production based on Addams’ original concept.
Unlike its on-screen counterparts, the musical draws direct inspiration from Addams’ original cartoons and features a completely original plot separate from the television and film storylines. Audiences can expect a darkly comedic, family-centered production filled with humor, heart, and plenty of the signature macabre charm that has made the Addams family a cultural favorite for generations.
Tickets are currently on sale and may be purchased from any member of the cast or crew, as well as at Williams Valley High School Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets may also be reserved by contacting Mrs. Jode Smith at jodesmith55@gmail.com.
Advance tickets are $8.00, with tickets available at the door for $10.00. All tickets are general admission.
