Jason D. Laurusevage
, 47 of Frackville, passed away on May 2, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville after a long courageous battle. He was the husband of Jennifer M. (Lackie) Laurusevage for 12 years. Born in Pottsville, PA., he is the son of Mark A. Laurusevage, Hershey, PA, and JoAnne (Bubnis) Laurusevage, Frackville, PA. Jason was a member of Altamont Fire Co., Frackville, and a member of the Frackville Elks BPOE1533. He had worked many years ago for Cougle's Recycling Inc., Hamburg as a driver and then for his father's former company MJM Transport. He loved to do work for friends and family using his cat backhoe

Surviving in addition to his Wife and Parents is one sister, Heather M. Kellagher, fiance of Jamie Bressi, Marion Heights, PA; one brother, Mark A. husband of Kristin Laurusevage, Walkersville, NC.

Viewings will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Mark J Hummel Funeral Home, 48 N Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM a the funeral home. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his memory to Altamont Fire Co., 209 S Green St., Frackville, PA. 17931

Mary Ann Manion
, 95, of St. Clair, died Saturday May 2, 2026, at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Born in Heckscherville, March 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Gripsha) Chaposky.

Before retiring she worked as a Seamstress at former St. Clair Garment.

She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair, PA.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband James Manion in 2006, son James Manion Jr.; 2 brothers George Chaposky, Joseph Chaposky and a sister Irene Mulhall.

Surviving are 2 sons, Michael Manion of St. Clair; Patrick Manion of St. Clair; 2 daughters Carol Todd and her husband Edward of Jacksonville, FL; Kathleen Penkala and her husband Thomas of State College; 2 sisters, Dorothy Swartchick of Phoenixville; Betty Albitz of Schuylkill Haven; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Todd, Michaela Penkala, Cody Manion, Emma Manion, Jace Manion, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2026 10:30 AM from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St. St. Clair. The Rev. Msgr. William F. Glosser will be officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Wednesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Clare of Assisi Memorial Fund at the above address. Burial will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Norwegian Twp.

Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, St. Clair, is in charge of arrangements.
