Wil F. Zarecor, 89, of Pottsville passed away on Saturday while at Green Valley Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
Born in Wauneta, Nebraska on March 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Herschel and Ella Trembly Zarecor.
Wil was the loving husband of Patricia Brown Zarecor. They were married 57 years.
Wil was a Wauneta Nebraska High School graduate class of 1954. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1962. Wil attended college in California and started his electronic engineering career with Communications Satellite Corporation in California, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. Wil worked with many other companies until retiring in 2005.
He enjoyed reading and driving. He was an expert gardener who often donated his food to the local food pantry.
In addition to his parents, Wil is preceded in death by his brothers, Dean, Dale, Donald, Dennis, Herschel and Jimmy; and sisters Ethel and Mary Lu.
In addition to his wife, Wil is survived by his children, Edward Zarecor husband to Sarah of Somerville MA, Scott Zarecor husband to Kimberly of Ames IA, and Janet Zarecor wife of Saar Elazar of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by grandchildren; Madeline, Henry, Max, Lukas, and Ella. Wil is also survived by his brothers; Kenneth, and Michael and two sisters; Barbara and Linda.
Services and interment will take place at a later date. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven is entrusted with services.

Bonny Beth A. Yeager, 74, of Tower City, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Pottsville.
Born in Reading on Wednesday, February 13, 1952, a daughter of Robert O. Burdan and Fern Rothermel Burdan. She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
Bonny had many jobs throughout her life. She began working as a seamstress in local knitting mills. She also worked as a cashier for numerous companies and was the receptionist for Aluminum Associates.
She was of the Catholic faith, belonging to the Most Blessed Trinity Parish. In her younger years, she was a member of the Blandon Lioness Club and was a part of the Blandon fire police with her husband David.
Bonny could often be found knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading, and watching movies. She loved taking trips to the mountains, with Promised Land State Park being her favorite place to visit. Above all else, her family was her world. She will be remembered as an excellent mother and grandmother.
Bonny was preceded in death by her husband, David Yeager.
Surviving are her son, Michael Kost and his wife Jamie Bond, Tower City; grandchildren, Jordan Ludlow, and Jeremiah and Gemma Kost; a cousin, Michelle Valeriano; a younger brother and sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Bonny will be privately laid to rest with her husband in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
