Born on March 22, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville, Austin was the beloved son of Jessica Didgen and Brett McGuire of Barnesville.
Those who knew him will remember Austin for his kind heart, caring nature, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his strength, his bright smile, and his often-shared motto: “One Day at a Time.”
Austin attended Mahanoy City Catholic School and Marian Catholic High School before graduating from Mahanoy Area High School with the Class of 2013.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three brothers, Nova McGuire, Racer McGuire, and Brett McGuire; his loving grandparents, Monica and Thomas Didgen; his Godfather, Joseph Malasavage; and his Aunt and Godmother, Jada Sevinsky, and Uncle Pete Sevinsky, along with their children, Brandon, Paris, and Paislee. He is also survived by his Uncle Shawn McGuire, Sabrina McGuire, Hunter McGuire, and Amanda McGuire.
Austin was preceded in death by his brother, Blayke, whom he missed deeply and carried in his heart always.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 11th at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Mahanoy City, PA, with Deacon David J. Henninger officiating. Friends and family may call beginning at 6:00 PM until the time of the service.

Emma Brobst, 83, of Tamaqua, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, surrounded by her family at her residence. She was the wife of the late William Brobst, to whom she was married for 59 years at the time of his death in 2021.
Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Wolfertz and Dorothy (Alexander) Mukeboo.
Emma was a homemaker whose life was defined by her devotion to her family. She especially cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who called her Mam, and took great pride in caring for them throughout their childhoods.
She adored animals and was immensely proud to be the wife of a career military veteran. Emma was well known among family and friends for making what many considered the best peanut butter eggs. She loved the ocean, was an avid collector of lighthouses, and remained proud of her New Jersey roots, calling herself a Jersey girl throughout her life. She grew up in Budd Lake and enjoyed reminiscing about her time growing up there. She also loved her cat Friskee and her dogs Daisy and Mocha.
Surviving are a son, James Brobst and his wife, Denice, of Nesquehoning; two daughters, Billie Brobst, with whom she resided, of Tamaqua and Mary Cramer and her husband, Scott, of Tamaqua; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Newell of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, David Steele and his wife Alyssa of Springville, AL, Samantha Linkhorst and her husband Jaryd of Tamaqua, Amanda Wildin and her husband Donald of Lansford, Hollie Brobst and her significant other Lisa of Michigan, Jessica Martin and her husband Vincent of Tamaqua, Devin Brobst, Tiffany Payne and her husband Luke of Tamaqua, and Austin Cramer and his fiancée Angelic Stevens of Lansford; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Caroline Martin, Tyson Fannock, Owen and Mason Steele, Eli Payne, Greyson Therrien and Lyla Stevens, James, Isabella, Gavin and Gracelyn Whilden, Jacob, Lukas, and Liam Tonkin; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Steele, in 2008; a son, William David Brobst Jr., in 1966; a grandson, James Brobst II; a granddaughter, Crystal Tonkin; and two brothers, Robert Wolfertz and Alfred Wolfertz.
The family would like to thank St Luke's Hospice for their overwhelming support throughout her final days.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sky-View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Avenue, Tamaqua.

Shirley Mae Kaiser, 92, of Orwigsburg Street, Tamaqua, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Andreas, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Born in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Grace (Moyer) Pursel. Shirley was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Christian H. Kaiser Jr.; her son, Jeffrey A. Kaiser; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Kaiser; her sisters, Margaret Carr, Carol Scott, and Patricia Paul; and her brothers, Robert, Thomas, James, William, and Chester Pursel.
Shirley is survived by her son, Christian H. Kaiser III; her daughters, Beth Risser and her husband Steve, and Cindy Sedlock and her husband Martin; her brother, David Pursel and his wife Margie; seven grandchildren, Bridgit, Chris, Justin, Jennifer, Amy, Martin, and Tony; and nine great-grandchildren, Christian, Evan, Brooke, Briley, Landry, Leighton, Lane, Simon, and Ethan. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A devoted lifelong member of St. John U.C.C .of Tamaqua, Shirley served faithfully as a deacon and elder on the church consistory. She spent many years overseeing the church's catering society, through which she extended the church's benevolence to the local community by organizing funeral dinners, school banquets, and family events. She was honored with the title Elder Emeritus due to her many years of service to the church. Shirley was also an active member of the Tamaqua, and Rush Township senior citizens groups, where she enjoyed taking group trips and playing bingo. She was an avid reader who loved decorating her home for the holidays and took special joy in adding new snowmen to her cherished Christmas collection.

A Funeral service will be at 11 o'clock A.M. on Thursday June 11, 2026 from the funeral home. A calling will be held on Wednesday evening June 10, 2026 at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00, and on the morning of services from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
Interment Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
