Commonwealth University has announced that more than 800 students earned degrees during the Spring 2026 semester, with numerous graduates hailing from communities throughout Schuylkill County.
Students from the county received degrees from the university's Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield campuses, representing a variety of fields including nursing, education, business, cybersecurity, biology, social work, and athletic training.
Among the local graduates from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg were:
- Jayce Adamick, of Pottsville, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Professional Sales and Marketing.
- Brymel Antalosky, of Frackville, who earned a degree in Business Administration: Marketing.
- Caden Burke, of Barnesville, who earned a degree in Nursing.
- Aaron Coccio, of Tamaqua, who earned a degree in Business Administration.
- Tanner Conrad, of Pottsville, who earned a degree in Business Administration: Finance.
- Abigail Daukaus, of Minersville, who earned a degree in Early Childhood Education (PK-4).
- Gavin DeAngelo, of Ringtown, who earned a degree in Nursing.
- Gina Galada, of McAdoo, who earned a degree in Business Administration: Marketing.
- Brandon Gonzalez, of Pine Grove, who earned a degree in Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity.
- Jocelyn Horvath, of McAdoo, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology.
- Zachary Houser, of Girardville, who earned a degree in Social Work.
- Kylie Kavanaugh, of Pottsville, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Grace LaPoint, of Pottsville, who earned a degree in Nursing.
- Cambria Mayberry, of Barnesville, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Nicholas Mikita, of Shenandoah, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Sport Management.
- Taleah Ruben, of Pottsville, who earned a degree in Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity.
- Paige Thomas, of Schuylkill Haven, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Autumn Walchak, of Pottsville, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Nursing.
- Taylor Welsh, of Pottsville, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Nursing.
- Madison Zula, of Pottsville, who earned a degree in Nursing.
- Zoe Gannon, of Auburn, who earned a degree in Business Administration.
From Commonwealth University-Lock Haven, local graduates included:
- Rachel Maurer, of Minersville, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Colby Petrizzo, of Orwigsburg, who earned a degree in Athletic Training.

Representing Commonwealth University-Mansfield, Emma Maurer, of Hegins, graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
