Frank T. Lazarchick
, 89, passed to his eternal reward on May 29th in St. Anthony’s Hospital, Gig Harbor, Washington.

Frank was born May 5th,1937 in Pottsville, the son of the late Mary (Stock) and Frank Lazarchick.

He attended St. Nicholas School and was a 3-sport standout at Cass Twp. High School, graduating in 1954.

Upon graduation he joined U.S. Navy, passed the fleet exam, scoring 1st in Pennsylvania and 5th in the nation, and was sent to Colombian Prep School in Washington, D.C. After prep school, he attended the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD., graduating in 1959.

He began his Naval career as an Ensign aboard the U.S.S. Geroge K. Mackenzie followed by tours of duty in Vietnam on river patrol boats, and search and recovery, and then serving on the U.S.S. Wallace L. Lind and U.S.S. Kansas City.

He retired from the Navy in 1979 as a Commander, and with his wife, Kiyoko, relocated to Tacoma, WA. where he began working for Boeing, in Seattle. He retired from Boeing in 1992 and spent his retirement years golfing, fishing in the Puget Sound, practicing yoga, Tai-Chi, and running road races.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kioko in 2015. He is survived by his brothers, Joseph, husband of Betty Jean of Primrose and Paul, of Schuylkill haven. Nieces and nephews.

Interment Tacoma National Cemetery, Tacoma WA.

Dustin J. Jablonski
, 43, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at his home.

Born in Reading, Pa, on July 25, 1982, he was the son of the late Donald Jablonski and surviving mother, Mildred (Becker) Jablonski.

Dustin was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Flyers.

Besides his mother Mildred “Millie”, he is survived by his 2 sons- Bradley and Noah Jablonski, 2 grandchildren- Derrick and Delilah, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 1 great-aunt, and several cousins.

A visitation will take place on Monday, August 3rd from 9:30 to 11:30am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Burial will full military honors will follow at 1pm in the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pa.

Sandra A. Baver, 85, of Orwigsburg passed away on Thursday while a resident of Orwigsburg Center.

Born in Philadelphia, May 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna Reed.

She was a graduate of Butler Township High School in 1959

Sandra was married to the late Arthur E. Baver who passed in 2015.

Sandra worked at area businesses including the Oak Hill Inn and she worked at Pioneer Tree Farm during the Christmas season.

Sandra is survived by her siblings, Robert Reed of Orwigsburg, David Reed, widower to Cheryl of Frackville, and Patti Muehter wife of Manfred of Maine along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven is entrusted with services. Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
