Schuylkill County Students Earn University of Scranton Spring 2026 Dean's List Recognition


Five Schuylkill County students have been recognized for their academic achievement by earning a place on The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the Spring 2026 semester.
Nearly 1,900 students were named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, recognizing those who demonstrated academic excellence. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while completing the minimum required credit hours during the semester.

The University of Scranton's Dean's List includes students from the College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management, and Leahy College of Health Sciences.

The following Schuylkill County students were recognized:
  • Sean T. Seven, of Auburn, a sophomore majoring in Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Grace A. Creasy, of Frackville, a junior majoring in Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Marcus J. Smith, of Schuylkill Haven, a senior majoring in English in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Maria M. Swain, of Schuylkill Haven, a senior majoring in Social Media Strategies in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Kerrigan G. Digris, of Frackville, a junior majoring in Kinesiology in the Leahy College of Health Sciences.
The University of Scranton is a Jesuit university located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and annually recognizes students who achieve outstanding academic performance through its Dean's List program.
