The department held a free bicycle giveaway during Friday night's racing program, with more than 60 children entering their names for a chance to win one of two BMX bikes.
Two lucky youngsters were selected as the winners and presented with their new bicycles at the speedway.
The Minersville Police Department thanked Jake and Jasmine Smulley and Big Diamond Speedway for helping make the giveaway possible.
The department said the event was an opportunity to give back to the community that continues to support local law enforcement.
