Interstate 81 northbound was closed at the Frackville exit as of 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2026, following a crash near mile marker 125.
The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes.
Medical Helicopter Requested
As emergency personnel arrived, a medical helicopter was requested for at least one person who was reportedly ejected from a vehicle.
Traffic Diverted at Frackville Exit
Just after 1 p.m., fire police were requested to divert all northbound traffic off Interstate 81 at the Frackville exit.
