Eric Fein Added to FBI Mosted Wanted, Reward Offered

Eric Fein, the suspect who allegedly shot and killed one state trooper and injured another in Pike County, was added to FBI's 10 Most Wanted List.  He is now ranked #2.

Three Vehicle Accident on Pine Street in Tamaqua Thursday

Three vehicles were involved in an accident around 6 PM Thursday, September 18, 2014 along Pine Street (SR309) near the intersection of East Union Street in Tamaqua.

Just after 6AM, emergency personnel were called to Route 209 in the Newkirk area near Tamaqua for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

According to the Republican Herald, a 3rd bomb threat was found Thursday in the boys' bathroom of Pine Grove Area High School.

Mahanoy City Native, Mike Rhoades, was hired back in March to coach the Rice University Men's Basketball Team.  The university posted a video today of his start as coach for the team.

Out of County: Reported 3rd Alarm Working Structure Fire in Shamokin

Just before 2pm, a dwelling fire was reported on North First Street in Shamokin.  The fire quickly hit a second alarm and not long later a 3rd.
