Pennsylvania 2-1-1 East is a free, confidential, non-emergency, comprehensive information and referral service that connects Berks, Lancaster, Lehigh, Northampton, and Schuylkill county residents with the health and human services they need.
PA 2-1-1 is populated at the Schuylkill United Way through a database network that connects individuals in need with services. The service was activated for Schuylkill County by the Schuylkill United Way in October of 2015. This cross-county effort ensures that individuals find help efficiently through the guidance of AIRS certified experts in the referral field.
There is no charge for any health and human service provider to be included. There is priority database entry for health and human service nonprofits and government agencies providing basic need services. There is no fee to use 2-1-1, unless a service carrier charges. There is no fee to utilize www.pa211east.org. Organizations should visitwww.schuylkillunitedway.org/get-involved to find information on registering for the 2-1-1 database.
