Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited is coordinating the 2nd annual Big Daddy Day. This day is dedicated to all fisher people who start the year off trout fishing.
We are asking each participant to donate $10 dollars to help pay for the stocking that morning. Also, SCTU is asking each participant to bring some goodies to share at lunchtime.
Open to everyone. If you don’t want to fish, come hang out and shoot the breeze
You’re going to have a great time catching some winter trout. We recommend catch and release, but please take only what you are going to use. SCTU welcomes those that fly fish, spinner fish or bait fish. Fishing will start at 11 am Thursday January 1,2015. We will meet at the oil tanks along the Little Schuylkill River near Taggertsville, just north of Tamaqua off RT 309. Dress warm and prepare for hours of quality trout fishing brought to you by Schuylkill County Trout Unlimited. Don’t forget your 2015-fishing license.
