...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...


* LOCATIONS...THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND MIDDLE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW AND AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...STORM TOTAL 2 TO 5 INCHES. ACROSS THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS OF SNOW WILL OCCUR TO THE NORTHEAST OF ROUTE 322.

* TIMING...SLOW MOVING BANDS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE INTENSITY SNOW WILL BE FOCUSED ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING...INTO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE MAY OCCUR DURING LULLS IN THE SNOW. THE SNOW WILL LIGHTEN UP IN MANY LOCATIONS DURING THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON AFTERNOON HOURS.

* IMPACTS...SLOWED TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.
