10 Year Old Charged with Bomb Threat

A 10 year old boy is being charged after Police and school officials say he wrote two bomb threats in the past week.

According to the Republican Herald, the 10 year old, wrote two notes that were left in the bathroom at Pottsville Area’s D.H.H. Lengel Middle school on 2/18/15 & 2/25/15. The boy, who has not been named, is being charged with two counts each of threats to use weapons of mass destruction, making terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

  1. everyone applauding charging a 10 year old with weapons of mass distruction needs to rethink this. i'll say it again, show me a 10 year old CAPABLE of getting their hands on a weapon like that and i'll show you a unicorn. and in the event one DID exist in PAHS school district, he wouldn't be dumb enough to get caught. our leaders and law enforcement need to have some common sense. kids do dumb stuff. even GOOD kids, make bad choices. that is why they are kids. and even kids taught well with great parents say and do things leaving us wondering what the hell they were thinking! if this was YOUR 10 year old trying to impress friends, scare a bully, fit in, etc. would you be so harsh?
