Frackville Man Accused of Setting Fire Inside Cell at SCI-Mahanoy

A Frackville man is accused of setting fire to his cell at SCI-Mahanoy.


According to an article published by Pennlive.com, Michael Tyron, 44, Frackville, is facing criminal charges after state police said he set a fire in his cell that caused his cellmate to suffer smoke inhalation.

Tyron was charged with two felony counts of arson, as well as misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief, institutional vandalism and recklessly endangering another person.

The incident reportedly happened on October 17th, 2014.
