Santa Returning to Pottsville This Saturday

Santa is returning to Pottsville this Saturday!


Come out and welcome Santa back to Pottsville's downtown business district. Santa will be arriving at 300 N. Centre St at 11 AM by Firetruck after a ride through the city's neighborhoods. 

His parade will begin at 10 AM and will ride through Forest Hills, Mt.Carbon, Mahantongo St, West End Ave, Laurel Blvd., E. Norwegian St., Mechanicsville, Anderson St and ending back up on Centre St. He will then be available for pictures at 300 N.Centre St from 11 AM till 3 PM. 

Bring your own camera for your picture with Santa. His elves are also bringing along their secret Hot Chocolate and cookies to share with you while you’re shopping.

PADCO is sponsoring an Elf Scavenger Hunt this day also at select downtown businesses, locate the elf and have your paper signed and all completed forms will be entered into a drawing for 7 different prizes at the end of the day. 

Musical entertainment will be available at 4:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church featuring the Sounds of Heaven, Soloists and the D.H.H. Lengle Tide Tones followed by the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting in Garfield Square at 6 PM and the Mayor’s Children’s Christmas Party with Santa at the Humane Fire Company at 6:30 PM and Following all these events Majestic Theater is having the group Silent Night featuring music from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and other Christmas classics. Our many restaurants will be open this day for all your lunch and dinner favorites.

Come out to Downtown Pottsville and see what we have to offer (you may be surprised at what you find available) and Greet Santa and make his return to town this Saturday GRAND!
